Some years ago I predicted a cycle of power that would have Ohio peaking in 2011-2012, and that, with a favorable schedule in 2011, Ohio would be undefeated. DL will reload, not rebuild. Offensive line returns in its entirety. Receivers, LB, DBs are all solid. RB is not something that concerns me at all. Therefore, the only question mark to me is QB. Because of the strength of the team around him, I'm not looking for a QB to carry the team on his back, but rather someone that can put in a solid, AE-like performance. If someone can emerge at QB that can be a leader, and that can put in a solid, reliable, relatively mistake-free year, and if the players all work hard in the off-season, I have no reason to change that prediction. Therefore, I continue to expect an undefeated regular season in 2011. BTW, I don't care what Miami or Temple has coming back - this will be a year for Ohio to win, not a year for the other teams to lose.
Remember - Now is the time of year when the success of next season will be determined. If the players are working hard in the off season, it will be a great year. If they are partying and getting in bar fights, not so much. Let's wait and see how it pans out, but I have great hopes.
