This is a sad day for Bobcats everywhere. You have to feel for his family. This was a very unexpected loss.

This really hurts!  Marcellis was one of our great players.  Prayers and thoughts for his family, friends and fellow players.  He was a very special BOBCAT player - but they all are.

As someone who knew Marcellis personally... this is so hard.... Forget his playing days... he was great and entertained us... however... Marcellis was a genuinely amazing person... I hope everyone can remember him not for what he did on the football field in a game that ultimately doesn't matter.. but as a great human being...  He will be sincerely missed...

He was a very sweet young man. He interned with us and was a natural with the kids. Just makes you look in the mirror a little bit closer as to what is important.

My heart is heavy. I admired the way Marcellis worked his way into becoming an important contributor to the team. Can't believe he's gone so young. Prayers and condolences to his family through this time.

He was so much fun to watch. Had great energy. I knew our team would miss him next year, but Bobcat Nation as a whole will miss him now. Rest in Peace.
