Not everyone in Central Ohio has had their Kool-Aid, which makes me think there is still hope. Unfortunately, I believe Ms. Miller has misread the average A&M fan. They won't be there tailgating when the losses start piling up and that's the shame of it for the "average" student-athlete that she hopes to attract. It sounds like she needs to come on down to Peden for the experience she craves.

OSU needs better quality of athlete

Why can't Ohio State University be just that? A school. According to the application, a student must have a GPA of 3.0 to be accepted. Does OSU follow this rule for everyone?
If it did, it would have a good football team one year, maybe a great one now and then, and maybe even a losing season sometimes. So what? It's a school. The football games would would be well-attended, the band would be there, the tailgating would be going on, and there would be nothing to hide.
No tattooed losers who would leave for the NFL ASAP anyway, after selling their “treasured” gold pants and championship rings.
Does OSU really want a national championship every year that badly?
