Check out the preview at College Sports Madness, ranked at #93 in their top 104.  A new site but very interesting.

Thanks for posting, but honestly, that ranking for Ohio is downright offensive. I'm trying not to get caught up in the hype for this season at one extreme, but a 93 ranking is quite the opposite extreme. By that measure, there are only about 27 FBS teams who are worse than Ohio. Wow.

Same. But all of these rankings, good or bad, will mean nothing in a month. Time to prove it on the field!

SB Nation has the Cats at 9-3 (maybe up to 12-0) and winning the East.  http://www.hustlebelt.com/2011/8/12/2358401/2011-mac-foot...

and a brief add-on about Tyler:

I think HustleBelt didn't hustle a whole lot in gathering information for this piece.  First they misspelled Todd Snyder's name, then they come up with great quotes like this:

>>>Athens, Greece is the birthplace of democracy. Athens, Ohio is the birthplace of voodoo algebra, where unknown variables are being guesstimated with hopes that the single-wing offense goes back in style or that 50-yard punts are worth five points.<<<

Hmm . . .

>>>Yes, that's Mickey Tettleton's son. He will not have to catch anything.<<<

They don't know about our QB eligible plays, do they?

I concede the point, but with all due respect to the ancient Greeks, isn't the "wildcat" just a 21st century single wing?  The formations may be updated but it's still a direct snap to a ball carrier.

As for the punting thing, when Z was still around punting was good for a few points a game except when a certain ex-HC who shall remain unnamed got tricky with it.

Hehe - got a good laugh at that. Of course, you have to keep in mind that Keller, Moore, Brazill, and Hardin aren't returning starters, so they don't count for much....
