We were a little shaky out of the gates offensively, but this looks like a team that is shouldering expectations and wants to win in spite of it. NMSU had a ways to go, but I don't fault myself or anyone for thinking this was a dangerous opener (history, even recent history, backs me up). We did what we should have done. Enjoy it and move on. Bigger fish to fry.  Defense has given up some big plays, but mostly is flying to the ball and staying in their assignments. I'm impressed and excited for what's to come.

Wasn't the D-line supposed to be the question mark on this years team?  11 yards rushing, yet the secondary is looking somewhat foolish in this second half.

Hopefully, having a FCS foe next week, we will be able to get people healthy enough for Marshall.  The Keller and Jones injuries are potentially very bad.
