No surprise considering the fact that Ohio U is playing at one of the worst programs in Division 1 football.

Uhhh...who in the Ohio fan base or this message board made this statement about NMSU?

I'm not sure if that was something someone here said, or if he's just referring to a general perception. If you look at the long term winning percentages of I-A teams, Ohio is #82 of 109 teams, not that highly ranked, while NMSU comes in at #103 with a record of 422-566-32. Also notable near the bottom is Can't at #109 and Temple at #98.

Not likely to unless there are pilot issues or the plane is scheduled to go somewhere else later from Las Cruces and they couldn't wait any longer to leave.  It doesn't make much sense about the bus as there has to be back ups buses available in case of a breakdown.  Anyway if true, that's a bad start to a long trip.  And the Aggie said it would be a long trip back if Ohio lost- not a long trip there.

Hey, not to worry, they could catch Amtrak and be there in time for next Saturday, maybe.

This is depressing.  On Thursday afternoon, I saw a HS JV team stranded in a gas station (on Rt. 33, no less) and a bus with the hood up.  All I could think was "How could the school let this happen?"  Then, "Too bad for those kids who were already pretty jazzed."

At least, the 'Cats can rely on that extra 2 hours sleep when they do get there.

Rob Cornelius is apparently on a plane right now, so it looks like not much of a delay.

For those of you who have Dish package service like me and live in midwest ( west of mississippi) the Oh-Mex game is being offered free on channel 410.  dish customer service says it will pop up at gametime (their words)..  this might be part of fox midwest out of st. louis but not sure.  you might check to see if fox in your area is also offering.  sometimes the regional sports channels pick up distant games if nothing local scheduled.  and sometimes you don't know what is on until you actually flip channels.  for those in Ohio you might check with Fox Ohio just in case before buying the game.. and finally, if you have Dish, and game is not on a free channel, I am sure you can buy it since since it will be floating through their airwaves.  Go Bobcats.l

I also know that the BW3 in Buffalo NY (well, one of them) claims to have the game available. I and 2 other loyal OHIO alums will be watching the game, there or at some other fine establishment in the Buffalo area. If there are any other fans in the area interested in watching the game and getting a little rowdy, PM me.

I'm shocked he took the time out of his busy politico schedule to make it to the game :) I hope he has enough time to learn the new player's names before kick off! As I type this, he's probably in a hotel room Googling "Mose Denton."

what BW3 are you talking about? Are you talking about the one near the McKinley Mall?

I decided not to go back to OU till Sunday so I'm still going to be here still. It'd be nice to possibly catch the game with some other Bobcat fans.

Actually, 681 is the Altitude Network on DirecTV. The ESPN GamePlan channel is 793.

I have Direct TV here in RI and yes the game is listed on those channels. I called Direct TV as there is a large cost difference between purchasing the Sports Pack, which listed channel 681, and the ESPN Game Plan, channel 793.
I was able to order the Sports Pack with the provision that if the game is blacked out for some reason I can cancel without any cancellation fee.
They have a special on the Sports Pack @ $7.99 for 3 months.

This has just made my day, not only do I have that channel but I have it in HD.  Perhaps being home this year will not be quite so bad

Remember gang, if you have an Xbox360 you can also watch ESPN3 games on your console. Very excited for this weekend. Three great games on all at the same time (OHIO vs NMS, LSU vs UO, UGA vs. BS).

Word of "possible" caution.

ESPN3, even through the Xbox, is dependent on YOUR internet provider. I know that the past season a friend in C-bus couldn't get ESPN3 through his Xbox due to his internet provide. I want to say it was Time Warner, but don't quote me on it.

Now it might be different now. Best bet is to check ESPN3 availability before the game so you can make adequate plans. Same goes for ESPN3 on your computer.

People with AT&T internet service get ESPN3 free through att.net/espn3. It's how I'm watching tonight. Might not be the greatest but it's certainly better than nothing...

As of last night, you CANNOT get ESPN3 through your XBOX via Time Warner cable, even though you can watch ESPN3 via your computer via time warner. Bastards

You are correct here - although thankfully that isn't the case anymore. Some deal has been made in the past year or so.

For y' all that cant get ESPN3 because your isp did not pay for this service
I just discovered a workaround (that really does work.. amazing!)

1.  Just Sign up for an att.net email account by clicking the link below.
     Att.net account
    http://www.att.net/s/s.dll?spage=host/getatt.htm&ch=m...

2.  Now once you are armed with your username and password you can now
login (to espn3)  and choose att as your internet provider.
then login with your att user/pass
3.  Enjoy the game!

You are getting lots of love from the Wizard, because this worked. Considering I have Time-Warner internet and Verizon phone and couldn't get either to work.
