Which is why Aggie football coach DeWayne Walker is focusing on the Bobcat rushing game in practice. Should NMSU be able to contain the run, they'll be in good shape to win as scouting reports indicate the Bobcat passing game, however talented, is unproven. Depth at the DLine and LB will be key for NMSU.
The Aggie secondary has some talent and experience, but what proved to be a missing link last season was the lack of a pass rusher. Opposing QB's would have between 4 to 7 seconds to throw the ball. That just decimated our secondary to threads.

I think you will be surprised at the athletic ability of the Bobcats. I really think that if OU is prone to mistakes and turnovers then it will be very close and even an Aggie win, but if OU takes care of the ball it could get ugly for the Aggies in the fourth quarter, providing the Bobcats are not winded by the altitude.
If Keller and the rest of the D are firing on all cylinders then the Aggies are in for a long game.
Several years back I watched Ohio beat Wyoming in almost every way but the stat that counts. Laramie is not Las Cruces but the altitude was not a factor in that one.
Here is to a well played game with no serious injuries for either squad.
