Let's expand the historical perspective just a tad:

1897  Ohio 12, WVU 0 @Athens
1906 Ohio 9, WVU 6 @Morganhole
1945 Ohio 14, WVU 0 @Morganhole
1949 Ohio 17, WVU 7 @Athens

I root for the Herd every time they play WVU, but the truth is that they've never been able to win one against the Northern Panhandlers. Ohio has -- four times!  Last year's MU-WVU tilt was a "W" in the bag that got away because of a too early prevent defense.  But that's another debate for another time.

Well you guys are entertaining if nothing else.  You pulled a statement from a conversation with one of your cohorts and completely misrepresented it.  Keep rollin...

Have fun "thundering" into the VA Tech board at 1 - 2.  Fear not though, I have every confidence you'll come away with "dominating" victories against Louisville and Rice so the season won't be a complete loss.

Indiana and Purdue are relatively the same in basketball.

However, this is football and IU is a joke when it comes to the pigskin.
