I'm in... I'm 2-0 on the road - at Minnesota and at Maryland.

I've been in away stadiums for three wins against BCS teams: Kentucky (twice) and Maryland.

Been to a few losses too -- Purdue, Kentucky, O$U (thrice), WVU and Penn State -- but let's not talk about those, OK?

Will be there - plan on tailgating in the RAC (basketball arena) lot.

FYI - Rutgers site says the parking lots only open 3 hours prior to the game (11AM).  That's kind of lame.  Anyway, I went to the last game at Rutgers and it was a lot of fun.  Easy bus ride from the lot over to the stadium.

I DO NOT HAVE A PARKING PASS. WHERE CAN I PARK?

• Game Day Cash Parking Lots can be found on the Livingston, College Avenue, and UMDNJ Campuses, as well as the Saint George Greek Church Lot on a first-come, first-served basis. Livingston Campus/RAC: RAC parking lots can be accessed via Suttons Lane or Avenue E. Take the FREE shuttle bus from in front of the RAC ($20 per vehicle).

We are staying at the Hampton Inn in New Brunswick/Piscataway.  Does anyone know if they run shuttle buses to the stadium from there, or nearby?  Or, is it easier to just drive to the stadium and pay to park?  How easy is it to park?

I hope the team is focused as it seems so the way the players are talking.  I'm making last minute plans to make the trip to Rutgers this weekend.  Already did it once to see the GW game.  I have a feeling I should really just stop kidding myself and make these plans ahead of time.  Anyways, I hope to bring everybody from work with me!  We like to get rowdy!  See video...(It will pump you up!)

Haven't been to RU for a football game in a couple of years, but the off site parking and shuttle bus system worked real well the last time I was there.
The only problem is getting to and from the stadium. The primary road is 1 lane each way and it can get backed up,especially after a game.
Then again, if the Cats do their job,the RU fans will be going home early.

Rutgers fan here - although technically you are right in regards to the 3 hour rule, it's not enforced. People will start showing up at 7am ish.

I found some cheap tickets so I will be making the trip up on Saturday! Unfortunately it appears that the Bobcat Bash is sold out :(

Sadly even though my co-worker at SportsGrid is a Rutgers alum and has season tickets I will be missing the game, though if I was in the metro area I'd be at Blogs With Balls 4 anyway.

Arrived in Piscataway . . . had dinner at a nice Italian restaurant.  The folks at the next table were all OU Development officials.  They said that even though they had technically sold out, they would take "walkins" on Saturday for the BobcatBash.  So, if you want to go, you can just walk up and pay.  There will be shuttle buses to and from the stadium to the location of the Bash, which is on the grounds near the stadium.

This is not a place like OSU.  A lot of the folks around here are only vaguely aware of Rutgers football.  Someone said that the crowd will be largely alumni and families.  I wouldn't doubt that that will be true from my observations thus far.

Getting excited about the game . . . but not the rain.  Drove through rain nearly all day getting here, and there's supposed to be more tomorrow.  Hope not.  But, regardless of the weather . . . GO OHIO!
