Doc, or any one, can you explain to me why Yuengling hasn't been available in Ohio all along?   I've never heard a clear explanation for this. A waitress at Ruby Tuesdays (where it's on the menu but you can't order it in Ohio) said it had something to do with an Ohio tax.  But, that makes no sense.  A state can't impose an import duty on a product from another state, except for Vermont.

Edit: We could buy Yuengling in Georgia over spring break, so I know it's widely distributed out Pennsylvania.

How's that, Monroe?

Need to format the text in light green.

DARK green.  Wouldn't want to confuse the Herd and cause a stampede again.

Quick answer......Yuengling didn't have the production capacity to supply the large number of beer drinkers in Ohio.

They have been working on a production plant that just supplies Ohio and it is finally finished and ready to distribute.  They are however phasing it in as far as different parts of Ohio goes.....hopefully Athens gets their beer from Columbus who will have it Oct. 3.  If they get their beer from Chilicothe it won't be until November.

At least you'll be getting Yuenling in Ohio.
I'd give anything to see Great Lakes come to N.J. !

Good thing, because apparently Tyler Knight is questionable with a knee injury, although it sounds like Roback will be playing more of a wide receiver role until he is fully recovered. Arkley said Bryce Dietz has started filling in at tight end and is learning the receiving aspects. He'd probably be mostly a blocker for the time being.

Also, Alphonso Lewis is apparently questionable, according to Arkley, and Jeff King had a setback and probably won't play for another few weeks now.

Harden practiced with contact this week, so he should be a go.

Hmmmm....Could Mr. Dietz be our new short-yardage/goalline fullback once we get healthier at TE?

Monroe will love this one.....a 6'5"-290 pound TE....in other words a TE who is a BIG MANZ.

I still have PTSD from last year's Kent game just the other night I awoke in a cold sweat.

It was my recurring dreams where I am a Bobcat minding my own business hunting jack-rabbits in the wooded hills of Ross County. Suddenly BOOM I am shot down by what I believe to be a 44 caliber pistol by a most unpleasant hunter wearing a Kent State hunting outfit. Hopefully after Saturday afternoon the Bobcat will be ripping off the most unpleasant hunter’s head in my dreams.  Once again bringing me peaceful dreams.

This year we need to make a statement that we are the Sheriff’s in the MAC.

What a better way to start than destroying Kent at home!!!

I can't make the game, but in about 21 hours (just under) I'll be sitting down to listen to this game with the VOTB and Rob C...and possibly watch it on the MAC-stream.

Time to get excited! STAND UP AND CHEER BOBCATS!!

If Roback is healthy...and if we utilize him (hear that Slavin)...he could be a weapon as effective as Bates.

Speaking of irony....2 former QB's....pound for pound maybe the 2 best athletes on the team....get them the ball...please.

Attack the sides, gentlemen.  Kent is running right through the lines (field goal/punting/O-line) without much issue.
