Once again Penn State trumps Temple!
We were lucky to pull this out.. Dysert and that WR are impressive. Some odd coaching moves on Miami's part.. going for it on 4th and 12?  Bad clock management at the end of the game?

These weeknight kick offs KILL attendance. 17k was the announced crowd but I would say there was 10k there.

Dysert has always been skilled - the difference seems to be that the new coaching staff seems to have figured out how to keep him from throwing it to the other team 2 or 5 times a game.

So basically if we win tonight, Temps is out, if we win @ BUGS then they are also out, and if we win all 3, we win the East! I like that logic

If we win tonight, that only puts us one-half game ahead of Temple with two left. This thing is soooooo far from over, even with a win.

But Ohio would be one ahead in the loss column and own the tiebreaker. Ohio basically needs to win 2 out of 3. If they beat CMU and BG, they need a little help. If they beat CMU and Miami, they need no help. If they beat BG and Miami, they need no help.

All true - I'm just not confident that anything is locked up with a win tonight. I can be made more confident by how we play/respond after last week. Need a solid road performance.

I agree. I feel more confident in Ohio's chances after watching BG and WMU play.  I watched BG play earlier this year and it looked like they had tightened up their defense a little bit. But during the WMU game, they still seemed to be vulnerable on the perimeter. I have visions of Bates running some jet sweeps and duplicating last year's effort vs. the Falcons. It could be a very fun night because WMU/Miami are playing at the same time as Ohio/BG. Would be nice to have the MAC East clinched next Wednesday night. But I have a feeling that every one of Ohio's remaining games could be nail-biters. Hope I'm wrong.
