Even if your source is correct, why would you post is on here? It seems like a private matter better dealt with by conferences between the players and coaches. Posting about here isn't going to make it true if it isn't, and isn't going to make it go away if is true. It might create some friction and hostility between some players, though. I hope that wasn't your goal.

I feel like I should put my tinfoil hat after reading THREE threads dedicated to the same stupid rumor. Can we please just end this? Dear Lord, if the kids leave, they leave. If they stay, they stay. But there is no amount of arguing or complaining or put each other down that is going to change a thing, grow up fellas.

But if we shut this thread down how can Bobcatzblitz fill that he is important?  We must keep this thread alive so he can continue to break news to us.  We need him. Just ask him, he'll tell you.

Are we sure we don't have our "sports" confused here? Isn't it our "point guards" not our QB's, historically bolting mid-stream?

Not sure what the "Breaking News" aspect of this whole thing accomplished. We certainly wouldn't be the first D1 program where the back-up QB assessed his future and decided to move elsewhere. I'm pretty sure that's how Bates got on our roster. I also would not be alarmed that the OHIO coaching staff would be aware that certain individuals are weighing their options for next year.

I just don't quite buy that certain individuals were not going to finish out this month. It would not be a good resume enhancer for someone to walk out a few days before a championship game. Makes NO sense to me on any level.

Not to mention you could probably swing an iPod, bookbag and sweatsuit out of a bowl package.  Just sayin'.

One twisted ankle or stubbed thumb and you get a chance to be a hero who goes down in team history.

Worked for Kurt Warner and Tom Brady.
