Moving on from the Logic talk for just a moment, any injury updates?

As of Monday at Solich's press conferences, Ohio was pretty healthy. Keller and Allen got back to practice Tuesday, I believe. They might not be 100 percent by game time, but probably 90 percent or better. Unless something has come up that I don't know about, I think everyone is good to go, aside from the few guys lost for the year.

We need all the manpower we have. Keller, Allen, Hyunh and Moore all need to be nearly 100%. If that happens:

Mobile QB, pro level running back, unhuman sized o-line, seen it. Won. BTW, I believe Temples D is better than NIU. IF we hold NIU under 30, we win big. Didn't Temple have a monster DE too? That was relatively quiet all game?

When this team has felt a big game, they have played a big game. Some stumbles against a better than expected Ball State, Buffalo that lost to NIU by 1 and a lackluster performance against BGSU. We have played well of late when not concerned about injury, including the 20 minutes we played against Miami. All we need from the D is a few well timed stops or turnover.

The best DE Ohio faced all year was Vinny Curry from Marshall.  He was invisible for most of the game.  I'm not worried about their defense at all.  Contain Harnish and the Cats win.

I don't see us stopping NIU's offense...slow down and contain, maybe. We have got to score TDs instead of FGs when we get in the redzone. Keep pace on the scoreboard and make a play at the end to win. That's how this team has won the games it needed to win this year.

This year:
On Offense
Ohio has lost 16 fumbles and thrown 8 interceptions
NIU  has lost 10 fumbles and thrown 4 interceptions

On Defense
Ohio has 8  fumble recoveries and 14 interceptions
NIU  has 10 fumble recoveries and 7 interceptions

Sounds like we need to win the turnover battle to win the game - and it sounds like to win that battle we can't turn the ball over.

We didn't stop Temples O either. Just slowed 'em down enough to get our O back into the endzone. Something I saw during the Temple game: Tettleton not liking the play call or defensive set up, looking to the sideline for a new play, then beating Temps with it. It seemed like EVERY TIME he looked to the sideline, we were getting first downs.

One of OUr players might have a grudge about no all-MAC mention, despite time lost due to injury.

Here's hoping Huynh brings it so we take it.

I'm wondering why the MACC wasn't bumped up to the Mothership?  I'm guessing it's because the timing of the game splits two different (relatively big) NCAA BB games?  Waddaya think Alex?

We all thry to think of 1 thing that a team needs to do to win a game and I didn't want to be left out of this discussion either.
My 1 thing is TURNOVERS. This has been our achillis heal all year. If we were able to not have any I feel fairly certain we win this game. I would like nothing better than to see us pick off a few passes early to set the tone.

Only NBA game of the night on the original schedule was for 10:30pm, I think the BB games were already scheduled for those slots (perhaps they were shifted back half an hour -- not certain).
