anorris, thanks very much for posting this.  I really appreciate your conscientiousness in doing this each year for both basketball and football.

Let me say that I have my computer already to go for that exciting intra-city struggle the first week between those two titans of the gridiron -- 'Nova and the Owlpoops.  I can hardly wait for the action to begin!

While perusing the New Mexico State Athletics website for where the Altitude Channel might be available, I came across this page:

http://aggievision.tv/Where_to_Watch.html

Note for those who can't get the channel via satellite or cable...they also have a subscription video streaming service for their games.

Good find!  Keep in mind, ESPN3 will likely make a stream available as well (will confirm that as we get closer to the game), so if your ISP is already paying for that service, check there first.  Great option for those who can't get the channel or ESPN3 to still see the game.

I'm surprised that NIU and Toledo are in 3-D.  I think at best they're two-dimensional.

Anyone else having a problem loading espn3 streams?  I've never had any problem in the past but get an error on every stream that says "There was an error loading the event"

Tried another computer, same thing.  Tried Chrome, same thing. Tried Firefox, same thing.

Found a couple other people online having the same problem.  Need to resolve this before Saturday!

Help!

I'm having problems with ESPN3 as well. Even worse, Altitude is having trouble showing the BG/Idaho game. Not a good omen for Saturday.

So in the last hour I've improved from "There was an error loading the stream" to "ERROR" to now it just doesn't do anything other than try to load.   I have a feeling this might just not be my fault and is an ESPN3 or WatchESPN problem.

I even tried installing the ESPNWATCH mobile app for my Droid 2.  For some reason it doesn't recognize I have fully registered even though when doing it on line I get a big congratulations for doing so.  ALthough if this works it would be AMAZING.

Getting frustrated!

I had some problems with the links I have (may have to scrap those), but using ESPN3.com's own links seem to be working okay for me (apologies about that!).

For what its worth, I'm using Safari on OS X 10.6 on Comcast and have a 4 way split with Idaho-BG, Villanova-Temple, Toledo-New Hampshire, and ESPNU with WKU-Kentucky with few issues over the course of the evening.  BCSN feed of Toledo has looked beautiful in HD, and I had a couple drops on the Altitude feed, but nothing that a refresh didn't fix.

From the little I've found online it seems to be a Time Warner only related problem.  Can anyone else confirm that?

Problem solved.  Found out that my espn ID was still associated with my previous Time Warner Cable address.  When I went through the ESPN app authorization for my Droid 2 it apparently linked them together and I couldn't figure out how to unlink the two.  I just ended up creating a new ESPN ID and linked it with my new time warner cable address/account and it worked.

Now I've got the new mobile app working as well as my laptop working.  Ready for game day!

It''s 6:20 pm and I think that I'm in on MAC Sports.  But there's no stream yet.  Is anyone else getting the game--or has the stream not begun yet?  Thanks!

I took a peek at espn's sched and this one has 'exclusive' by OUr game vs. Rutgers as it did for stupd cow.

So, I presume that there will be 'net viewing possibs but no cable or dish TV, right?

Answered in another thread, but will post here since others with the same question are more likely to see it -- yes, this game is being produced for ESPN3.com only, and will not be available through any other means.

It should be...I don't think Alex has updated the thread for this weekend yet.

It's listed as being streamed here:

Correct -- it'll be there.  Has been a busy week, so I figured I'd hold off on this week's update until Thursday when GamePlan channel info comes out, and do it all in one whack.
