Losing--bad.

Losing while playing with no passion and smarts--unacceptable.

This team looks like the first day of summer workouts with no clue whatsoever.

Bobcats go hurry-up...no more looking to sideline...no more TT lifing leg repeatedly...no more entire line rising up to look at sidelines...no more having to take timeout to prevent delya of game penalty.  Result?  Ground game rolls, passing game comes on, TD.

The 2nd half of NIU and the first part of this game is all on the coaching staff.  We refused to play with gusto and to go with OUr identity.

WE JUST TOOK A TIMEOUT TO STOP THE CLOCK SO WE DIDN'T GET A DELAY OF GAME PENALTY ON OUR FIRST OFFENSIVE PLAY OF THE SECOND HALF.

THAT'S A JOKE, RIGHT?

Great 3-and-out job by us to take advantage of the first -possession of the 2nd half.

Except that we're now using it some and it's working (all our points came from it).

Nice delay of game on a key third down at their 13 that yields us no legit chance for a first down so we have to settle for a field goal.  It's not like there's a play clock on the field that our players and coaches should see.  I know Utah State's had a bunch of clock violations--oh, wait, they haven't.

We've totally lost our composure.

I'm just sick of our offense going in the tank EVERY FREAKING POST SEASON GAME! From detroit to mobile to new orleans and now boise. Crappy offense. Every. Flipping. Time.

Absolutely brilliant job not to blitz them on 3rd and about 5 from their 32.  I turned to the g.f. and said that if we stop them here we win but if they get the first down then they win.

Next play 45 yard run for them.

Game over.

USU's 7-5 record is deceptive.  They're really one of the best teams ever.

Hey, did you know that they're primarly a running team?  I wish that info had been available before this game so we could prepare for that.

OHio continues timid; runs option on 3rd and about 3...gains no yards.

Thank goodness we didn't try a pass which would allow us to gain it thru the air or by qb run.

Twice, at key points, we field (once a fair catch) punts inside our 10 yard line?

Awesome finish. Wasn't our best effort but we made plays down the stretch like champions. Congrats to the team and coaching staff for persevering in the face of angry over amped fan(atic) s!

Yeah.  Barely.  More later, but my take is that we should've won by 14.  USU is not a bad team but, goodness, they were 7-5.  A loss today could have set the program back decades.
