you can set your watch to Temple, every year its the same tired story-

- The off season is full of bragging about some website that said Temple has the best recruiting class in the history of recruiting classes.
- Then some other website picks Temple to FINALLY win the MAC East this year because "they have a good feeling about it" and "it's their time".
- Then the season begins and there's a bunch of excitement about playing a local DII team. (and attendance was up and it wasn't the other teams' fans, honest!)
- Then Temple beats some marginal BCS team which sets off endless talks about moving to a BCS conference and lamenting about how bad the MAC is because its killing attendance and blah blah blah.
- Conference play begins and Temple gets a few wins vs the bottom of the MAC, further extending the false sense of entitlement and superiority.
- And then Temple plays OHIO and BOOM!... your season is over.
- Mass hysteria breaks out and its freak out time until the end of bowl season where we go straight back to the top and repeat.
