Surprised no one from the Cleveland area has mentioned Spudnuts Donuts.  Was never a big fan but they still have two locations in the area.   When I was younger I thought they were just a Cleveland thing,  but I pretty far off base on that assumption.  More info about them here:  http://www.spudnutinfo.com/

Not including the Potato Ole' from Taco John's is criminal.

I almost included Tat-chos. An amazing concoction we had at a bar after the bowl game last year in New Orleans.

Think of multi-layered nachos, but instead of tortilla chips, tater tots.

Very good. But it was 2 a.m. and we had been drowning our sorrows of a bowl game blowout.

I wish I could vote for Patton Oswalt's own invention for Black Angus steakhouses, the Potato Bacon Bomber.

I can't believe I'm the only person who voted baked potato.

C'mon people ... some butter and a dollop of sour cream ... a little sprinkle of freshly chopped chives... that's a little bit of heaven right there.

My Aunt's twice baked taters can't be beat, although oz's mashers are a close second. It just depends on my appetite vs my desires.

I'm thinking we need to take the top 2-3 vote-getters in this poll. Then, we can pit them against each some of these awesome write-in votes in another poll -- the playoff poll.

We'll call it the PCS -- Potato Championship Series.

And finally, finally, we'll have a real playoff system to determine the true potato favorite.

I would also like to congratulate French Fries for its poll win. I'm chasing them with a cold beverage now. Congrats!

It would have been so much cooler if the trophy was presented at the end of the game WITH the potatoes in it!

I agree 100%. Trophy with potatoes would be even more memorable. And, from now on as long as I'm alive and there is a Potato Bowl, I am interested in it.
