Although a lot of RU supporters I know are hoping that Tom Bradley is their next coach,
today the press is reporting that Temple's coach is considered one of the favorites to replace Schiano.

According to the papers,RU  likes him because he is considered a "program builder".

I'm happy. Of course Addazio, like Golden, is going to be a candidate for every well paying job that pops up. Any successful "]["emple coach will be.

Personally,if I were Temple,i'd be worried.
If he does get hired by RU before National Signing Day Temple stands to have the same problem with keeping
their verbals as Ru is having now.
Especially since he could bring his staff and at least some of the verbals with him.

Chil,l we got this. No need for a half a thousand view thread on an unsubstantiated rumor out of the New Brunswick chemical depot.

I plan to get a handle tomorrow in our sold out arena in anticipation of our 10th straight win over St Joe's. What do you anticipate for your Ball St clash? Anyone know anyone who is considering going ?

Agree, given its pitiful tradition of losing, any level of winning at Temple will get the coach a look.  Winning at Temple is like winning at Vandy or Army - except those schools are far superior academically.

Since joining the MAC, Temple is 25-15 in Conf, Ohio U 26-14. I'm with you, I love substituting crap MAC teams for Miami, Va Tech, W Virginia on the schedule. Nothing like fattening up on the Kent's of the world....Hey, wait a minute ??

I just took the time to look at Ohio U's OOC wins since 07.  Christ, what a bunch of scabs:

Gardner Webb (2x) North Texas, Wofford, San Luis Obispo, VMI, ULL....thank God you finally won a post-season game. You gotta be kidding.

 "]["emple.........Ohio U's Bowl Game.

Arguements about who is better should be determined head to head on the field not by who you play OOC or who you beat up or don't in the Conference.  Oops, my bad, when was the last time Temple beat Ohio in football?

Yes, and you have beaten the teams you should have and lost to the ones better than you.  And still - it is an improvement over Temple's tradition.  So yes, a Temple coach that wins against the bottom of the MAC will get a look.

We'll have a lot more BCS victories if we can continue playing Temple once you're in the Big East.

Be very concerned Bobcatters. Very concerned. "]["emple is in an exceptional position and will be included. Its imminent but Ohio may be relegaed to scheduling Kent and Youngstown St in perpetuity.

OT, but also something MH55 won't be happy about:

Governor Christie just announced a plan to combine Rowan University and Rutgers-Camden to form a new, large research institution in South Jersey.

By my estimation Temple is currently the 13th best college in the Delaware Valley. Not exactly something to be proud of. With this merger they will soon be falling to the 14th position.

My question to you:  why is Temple in an "exceptional position?"  Yes, you have a big stadium and are in a good market.  But you have yet to win a MAC East Championship, let alone the whole thing.  But I just have a hard time thinking that Temple will add a huge boost to (for example) the Big East as far as ratings go, when you still are just another MAC level team.

Laughable, some scrub from Newark insulting a ']["emple education. So just how many degrees did you pick up from Ohio ? Tell me, is it harder to get a regulation size Snickers or a degree in Athens ??
