Make another personal attack on somebody and break the board's posting policy and I'll do away with your account, just like the many other message boards have already done.

Ryan, you deleted another one his posts . . . does this mean he's gone for good?  I, for one, won't shed a tear.

Read an article today that speculated nothing will happen until at least next Wednesday, when the school presidents have a regularly scheduled meeting at the A10 tourney.  "Imminent" takes longer and longer these days.

Could be something tomorrow...
Apparently Temple is negotiating the buy out of the MAC but Villanova also wants to be paid for "Territorial Rights"...whatever that is.

Saw something on ESPN online yesterday about a verbal agreement being reached with the big east to be announced Monday. It was gone in less than 30 minutes.  Don't know why.

Every day "imminent" gets a new meaning out East: Temple Denies Report of Big East Move.

My guess is that "Territorial Rights" would be who gets first dibs on The Palestra and to compensate Nova for no longer being the only "Big 6" b-ball school in Philly.

Do you think Villanova wants a cut of Temple's share of future Big East hoops earnings or a one-time payment?

So for Nova it's all about the benjamins?

Yep... Nova is scared.  They want money...but I'm sure Seton Hall didn't ask for money from Rutgers...

Seton Hall basketball has been irrelevant ever since the time Rutgers joined the Big East. Maybe they should have asked for some Money from Rutgers.

Cmon Pataskala...negotiating the Palestra? Just stop, you are way out of your depth.

I dont suspect Bobcat fan has ever negotiated anything more sophisticaterd than a cable bill. Its a done deal and frankly, Im delighted that ESPN doesn't want what the MAC is offering to replace Temple's two weekday games initally slated. MAC shedule chaos is the problem or really, the MAC just doesnt offer much to the football viewer.

Probably not cloned.  Just using another alias.  You can't miss that trademark "sarcasm is way over my head" reaction.

Which leads me to ask the question again...

Who's whose bowl game?  You don't see Ohio fans trolling Temple boards and now Mark's not only been banned, but has gone to the effort of creating another alias in less than a week.  Couldn't stay away...It's really quite sad...

Just to get back on topic, according to "Phillysports.com" the Big East commissioners have a vote on accepting Temple as a new  member of the Big East in all sports for 2012 scheduled for their Wensday meeting .

Rather then holding Temple ransom for additional millions for abruptly exiting, I hope the MAC brain trust considers some out-of-the-box thinking. Say agreeing to Temple's immediate release in return for guaranteed home and home football series to include each Big East football school versus MAC schools. If such series are already scheduled(Cincy vs. Miami, etc), the Big East school would be required to schedule another home and home series. The scheduling to be coordinated by the league offices. Since the Big East has fewer football schools, I'd like to see the same requirement for Basketball so that each MAC school benefits from such an arrangement.

MAC earned 11 million in revenue.. Temple paying 3.5 seems plenty.
