IMO. I'll ride Fiami this weekend, +/- this weekend. I feel more confident in that one. However, it would be neat for BG to upset them.

Huge opportunity for Chase Hendricks.

Jailen Hammer was another new kid I'm eager to see. Spent some time at Aaron Rodgers U before transferring to OU.

"In 2022, he broke out. In the team’s 10 games, Hammer went off for 800 yards and 14 touchdowns off of just 42 receptions."

I us old timers appreciate the "PAW" . As for those who aren't in favor of spending money for temporary decals. I would recommend seeing how many tickets have already been sold for tomorrow s game. It would be pleasantly surprising. If we can keep consessions full that and parking will over compensate it. Last time I checked we are on the same "team... welcome back Alumni! Enjoy yourselves.

OHIO duplicates what Row the Boat did on a trip to Athens and scores seven on seven straight possessions and later kicks a field goal and dominates the Flashes on HC in a 52-13 thumping.

Highs in the 50s with wind chills maybe in the 40s. Sounds like summer in Ontario.

Well, maybe old-timers but not ancient-timers like me. I received my undergraduate degree in 1968, and most of those in my age-cohort that I know don't like the PAW. I had a window decal on my VW bug that actually I think must have been the model for the AttackCat. It was very similar except that the Bobcat had a open and more menacing looking mouth. It did have an arched OHIO. I've searched in vain to try to find a photo of it. I've found several photos of my bug, but none show the back window where the decal was located.

Have the Bobcats ever been favored by 25pts before?

If we want to move up in the rankings we need to cover this spread.

Forgive me OhioCat. I haven't been around that long. I have only been in Athens since the 70's. I was never a fan of the attack cat. I don't mind the "OHIO" on the helmets.. it would be neat if it were all white today, ( including the green Paw on the helmets) I am just excited the Bobcats ( Not Bobbies) have a safe / good game against Kent Read,Kent write, Kent St. I am grateful for being apart of the "legacy" for generations. BLEED GREEN!

Recommendation number one… turn off the music and let the band play!

Let's also move the visitor section back to the corner. Bad optics to have 300 seats front and center unused because no one from Kent decided to drive down.

The optics on the field are a lot worse right now.

Game has a bad feel. Rourke overthrows Cross for a sure touchdown. Cox falls down to allow Kent TD. Wiglusz has a sure TD bounce off his shoulder pad. 21 points right there.

I love the improvement that we have made on defense. Why is the offense seem so uninspired to me?

Well, Albin didn't follow my game plan of establishing the run and only passing enough to keep them honest, but I can live with the score! I'll take 42-17 any day. We better be able to run better next week against NIU, I would think.

Pretty sure you are referring to the logo shown here used from 1958-1978.

I have always felt that there is enough people that like that Paw that it should remain as a secondary symbol for the university. But, the biggest reason why I totally prefer the arched Ohio attack cat logo is that it clearly identifies us outside of the university whereas the Paw is too generic of a symbol for barely anyone to recognize us outside of the university.

That said, I think it is a cool tradition to have the Paw helmets for homecoming each year, and I still think giving the players small pawprint stickers on the back of their helmets for good plays might be a cool way to blend the use of the two logos together though.

Navarro was our leading rusher today with 65 yds, 52 on one play. Bangura had 41 on nine carries; Allison 27 on 11 carries.

Clearly Kent St is tough against the run. The game plan was spot-on! That play-action little roll out to the TE was devastating. Nice work coaches!

Nope, it was none of those. Looked as I described it. I do remember all of those you listed, though.

This sounds like the conversation the 7th grade girls are having at lunch at Athens middle school. 😳

Ohio received 2 points in the Coaches Poll again. Albin said that week that not all of the votes came from him. Which means exactly one point came from Albin and one from someone else. The first guess from me was Scott Loeffler but he doesn't have a vote. Who do you think it is. Possible candidates with votes that come to mind are Jason Candle, Chuck Martin, Brady Hoke, and Tom Herman but 64 coaches have a vote. It will probably remain a mystery.

Thinking that Brady Hoke would vote for us is a complete joke!

Yeah, that's probably true. We played them and they beat us unlike FAU. If he did vote for Ohio he'd probably only do it as a means in his own mind of trolling Ohio State.
