Though I do more lurking than posting, I've seen enough of this Sense of Shame guy to know that he likes to control the conversation. He didn't like your efforts to guide the discussion back to the original purpose of the thread, but then he comes back and says that the whole purpose of the thread was worthless. Next, he implies that the original poster wasn't as wise as he and should not have started the thread because he should get his news from another source and keep it off this board. This is really rich.

Then in this same thread we get to hear from his alias Bobcat Love. I remember a thread not too long ago when the two argued between themselves. This was really good for a little laugh.

1) I'm not Bobcat Love and there are plenty of people here who know that. I'm flattered by how much time you spend thinking about me, and honored to be the suspect of your amateur detective agency. But you got that one wrong, dude.

2) I didn't actually imply that we should keep transfer news off the board. I suggested that if someone is so opposed to discussions that a discussion board isn't an optimal place to hang out. And reminded them that there are, you know, news sites for news that dont include the discussion he seems to hate so much.

3) See you next time, man. Very proud that 100% of your posts here are in response to me or about me! Nothing weird about that.

Just got a second team offensive tackle from Colorado state who joined the portal on 11/2. Ches Jackson

He had offers from Akron, Western Michigan, ULM, Georgia State and Arkansas St after he announced his Transfer. He’s a graduate transfer.

I know it remains to be seen as far as playing time at their respective new schools but it's impressive to see where the Western Michigan transfers are ending up at.

Despite the 5-7 record, they clearly have/had a lot of talent on that team.

My favorite defensive player who had to sit the bench with Thompson coming back this year. He would have been the alpha hog on defense next year. We will miss this guy.

Kai Caesar announced he's declaring for the draft. I didn't think he had any eligibility left anyway. I think he does have a solid late round shot. He raised his game to another level this year.

Defense will have lots of new faces next season.

We are losing a good one according to his twitter page.

Cannon Blauser has entered the portal.

The linebacker was set to be OUr top returnee at that position.

I’m not sure if any have an extra COVID year.

Kyle Kelly returns and a few like Ben Johnson and Quintell Quinn can return from other positions.

True Freshman Marshall could play and maybe a portal pickup as well.

HUGE loss.

I always had this one in the back of my mind. He had walk-on chances with OSU and Virginia Tech and a couple other high-profile programs, felt like a flight risk immediately. Had a strong year. Might as well take a chance. He probably ends up at Cincy or something.

Wonder if we have a chance with someone like Blake Glessner from Montana State? Led the FCS in FG's made. Still a sophmore.

Most G5 are in trouble with NIL money. Realistically though these rosters at all levels are in flux. These kids will bounce around or out depending on openings and opportunity. Get used to buying a program whoever you are a fan of. It's the wild west. Best of luck to Vakos and I'm sure he won't be the last to go. Recruiting season is year round. Get the kids in and then convince them to stay.

You are correct. The problem as stated so many times on here is that many good players cannot be convinced to stay with all the money flying around. Good for the players, not so good for any sense of continuity. We better get really good at playing the transfer portal game and I don’t know how you do that when money is going to be such a problem.

I’m guessing we’ll lose 3-4 more younger starters, but that’s only a wild guess. I would think that a G5 coaching staff would be looking at least that many who would get serious looks.
