....And back to Earth Bobcat fans.. Noon games are awful in Athens. (Especially when O$U plays at the same time) folks on here sound like Buttguy fans in regards to complaining about every analytical. Something IMO is not working as we "expected ". We are 6-2 and have a chance to win a HUGE game in Athens next week! ( is Ohio football "That good" we'll see. Please everyone turnout Saturday! And blessings to the Gabbert family. What an unfortunate situation.

Tim Albin must have attended a different game yesterday. "It was packed, packed out there on both sides of the stadium and it was electric."
The “crowd” was just embarrassing. At least those there made some noise when it was needed. Watched Q3 from the Sook Center and even the Tower Club seats were 80 - 90 percent empty. Awful.

I hope everyone enjoyed the other snooze fest brought to you by Ohio A&M.
If our attendance was embarrassing, how about Miami with 17,300 for homecoming in a game between arguably the best 2 teams in the MAC. Not a noon game either.

For a lot of our fans, after a disappointing loss, tough to real excited about playing a 2-5 team.

I was not able to find this quote anywhere. When did he say that?

Agree with others that we dodged a bullet. WMU moved the ball a lot more than their score suggests. Rourke had 2 throws that should have easily been interceptions that were dropped. They missed 2 FGs (though so did we). They had lots of penalties and a few massive ones. It was basically a toss-up and we came out on top.

Looking at the season results, it does appear WMU has been able to move the ball so perhaps the defensive performance is not that upsetting especially with how they stepped up in big plays (i.e. 4th downs). The bigger concern is our offense limping to 20 points against that defense. The decline has been stark. Personally I would spread the blame to the O-line, the coaching / play-calling, and I hate to say it but Rourke is not playing as well as he did last year.
