I really hope we pull this out for an ugly win. But, if we play like this next week, the redchickens will thrash us.

Time for a six minute drive that result in a touchdown. But you are right Gabbard will have a field day with us next week.

No more survive and advance. We gotta figure it out on offense.

Survive and advance. I will never complain about a conference win.

Needed that game from Wiglusz. Signs of life from the offense in the 4th!

We are going to get housed by Fiami in our own house if our offense keeps this up.

Idk if the coaches will notice but when they sped up the offense, they moved the ball.

Nah they’ll run it up the middle and burn the clock next week

I am pleased we are 6-2. However, where does one feel comfortable with being the best in the MAC/ and have the highest expectations.. or slowly develop into a perennial in the conference. And out-recruiting our league foes.? I sure hope we have a better croud turnout next weekend for Fiami/ Halloween/ and MAC East in our palms..🤔

Watching MOFO vs Toledo, they also run the play clock under 5 on most snaps. Difference is, they actually have a good running game and a deep passing threat.

I realize our coaches want to milk the clock, but snapping the ball under 5 when the he game clock is stopped doesn't make sense. Fives their D too much time to figure out what we're doing.

Bulletin: Gabbert just went down with a leg injury and is being taken off by ambulance.

Gabbert just taken off the field in an ambulance with Miami still trailingToledo. Tough break for Miami but could be a difference-maker for the Bobcat season.

I seem to recall the star QB going down (Dysert ?) and replaced by the next who led the RedHawks to the MAC Championship and ultimate victory while the Bobcats were getting taken down by Kent after Thanksgiving when OHIO controlled their destiny.

Hope he is okay--as a fan you always want to face the best.

I just got back home. So many missed opportunities for both teams. If I looked at just the team stats on the boxscore I would have guessed that Ohio won by a score of 38-24.

Tim Albin must have attended a different game yesterday. "It was packed, packed out there on both sides of the stadium and it was electric."

Maybe he's also related to Louisa May Alcott, but on her paternal side! ;-)

The “crowd” was just embarrassing. At least those there made some noise when it was needed. Watched Q3 from the Sook Center and even the Tower Club seats were 80 - 90 percent empty. Awful.

I hope everyone enjoyed the other snooze fest brought to you by Ohio A&M.

OU 110th in 3rd down conversion.

Tale of the season there. An indictment of the awful play calls. An extremely lucky team to be 6-2.

Another week where we convince ourselves a 2 win team is good, and we’ll be okay next week.
Execution has nothing to do with it? All play calling huh? I bet you'd be a great coach at the youth levels!

So, you don't think during that time the offense can read the coverages, and blitz packages? Can't use a shift or motion to an advantage, only the defense gains anything. Got it!

Wouldn't it be great if the head coach in an interview called the fans embarrassing? And called them out for not showing up. I am sure that would go over well, and the ticket office would have to hire more people to handle all the orders the next week. What is the coach supposed to say? Just curious

Thanking the crowd that did show up would be appropriate. calling it packed when it was just an awful crowd is something different. it's harmless, though. maybe wishful thinking.

As I said, Our "fans" are fickle. going against yucks game and coming off a loss, it was easy to predict the light crowd. In addition, probably a good amount of students go home between homecoming and halloween. so... whatever. Don't get your hopes up for next week either. halloween is traditionally terrible for attendance. Hope the students show.

Typically, I brush off fans that criticize national TV announcers for showing their bias toward one team. Having said that (a saying rightfully criticized by Larry David), was I imagining that the color commentator in yesterday's game seemingly agreed with every penalty against Ohio but disagreed with every penalty against WMU?

What I didn't imagine was this awful first-half take he had on Rourke and Wiglusz: "Those two seem to have been playing here forever." Rourke, maybe. But Wiglusz, who has been in Athens for all of 1.5 seasons?

That NIU loss really took the wind out of everyones sails.

Still think a 6-2 vs 6-2 match-up with the MAC East on the line would be a draw… but I can’t imagine a lot of out of towners or even in-towners want to fight the Halloween traffic and parking.

Noon starts suck. The student side was a real embarrassment. That’s because they’re not gonna get up that early on Saturday. I thought the press book side was OK but certainly not great. Like someone else said we really need those extra seats ha ha ha.

Sorry to hear about Gabbard. We just better take care of business now.
