Wasn't much of a fan of this combo, and couldn't quite figure out why when I was in the stadium.  But this is why.  The pant design was just a bit off.  

With all those butts in seats I can't blame them for wanting to display the black jerseys for a night game.  Combine that with not wanting to go all black until the blackout game and you get that combo (which grew on me throughout the game).  I really think now that they have options, they are paying a lot more attention to being sure we differentiate our helmet color from our opponent.  I honestly love the attention to detail...It's just another example of how coordinated effort and focus across the board can make a difference.  Ohio Football is a well oiled machine...
