To make it even worse, they are going to wear white pants

I actually think the white pants will make it a better look than all black with a white helmet.

obvious ploy to sell more customizable jerseys at the College Book Store.

for shame, I wanted to see the home green jersey/white pants with the green helmet.

I can get used to any combo - if the players like it - and we win!

Uniform does not matter.

Solid performance by OHIO student-athletes does.

I think it looked a lot better than when we debuted the all-black unis before we got the black helmets. I NEVER want to see that look again, but I didn't mind this one. Still want to see a green jersey & green helmet combo at one of these upcoming home games.

I did not like black jerseys with white pants. Wonder what the uniforms will be for next week?

This combination kind of took of the mystique off of the black jerseys which I think is good for the good ol' take it one game at a time approach.

I want all green, helmet included, for one home game this season. Why not for homecoming?

not be a fashionista but I hated the combo tonight,  from a marketing/branding perspective we should have rocked the green white. all those potential students in the hs bands, our freshman class experiencing Peden for the first, and lots of pictures being taken because of the record sell out, green and white was the better choice, imo. oh well.

I think the combo looked nice enough, from a style standpoint. The problem  was that it didn't look like Ohio. It also didn't look as imposing/dominating as the all black combo. Giving up a big of "Ohio" look for an imposing look is probably a good tradeoff, but for just a stylish look, I'm not so sure. I agree that an all green look would be good.

In the end, if the team is winning, any of the uniform combos are fine with me. I don't think there is any combo they will make that won't look decent.

As great as the uniforms were for Penn State, tonight was a big let-down. We're trying to be too "cool" for our own good. Stick to the green/white or black, but don't mix the two. It was just too forced looking.

I am really really really excited for all black with green helmets.

PS.   I have seen 3 OSU jerseys and 1 WVU jersey on campus this year.  About 10,000 black jerseys.

I would like to see the Bobcats go with a flat green helmet like last week with an over sized white attack cat similar to the helmet Mizzou wore yesterday.

When I first saw this on Arkley's Twitter I thought...naaaaaahhhh.

However, after watching the recap by Russ and Rob on ohiobobcats.com, the white helmet and white pants makes it look good. I just hope we don't turn into Oregon and wear a different combination every, single, week.

I would have been okay with the combination had the pants matched the jersey in design style. I was also hoping they would save all of the black gear for the actual blackout game.

JSF--I'll take wins on the scoreboard over the runway...not sure the look affects the performance.  Classic Bobcat green trim on white tops, bottoms and helmets rules.

Good uniforms catch the eye of recruits. And need I point to the Marshall game last year? You can't tell me that didn't put spring in their step.

I'm not saying it makes or breaks a program, but anything that makes us look better is a good thing.

I thought the white helmets and white pants looked great with the black jerseys.  A nice combination.
