I'm curious to what this mass exodus of Ohio is going to look like on the highway, you can't ALL hog the fast lane can you?

Bunch of FIFOs are going to make getting anywhere in Huntington impossible tomorrow.

Oh man, an Ohio driver joke! Look out, guys! He means business!

I also bought my ticket through the MU ticket office.  They were excellent folks as has been said several times.  It's my first time at an away game in a long time.  It must mean lots of Bobcats are making the trip if I'm driving solo!  I think we will have a respectable travel contingent supporting our team.

Go Bobcats!

I'm jumping on this one because it has always driven me crazy when my West Virginian friends say this....

I'm typing this extra slow so you can keep up...

You have around 50,000 people in your entire city.   Heck, it's less than 100,000 people in Wayne and Cabell county COMBINED.  Let's say 10% of them drive on the interstate to get to work in the morning...  That's 10K people.

We have more than 60,000 people that work in downtown Cincinnati.  This doesn't include all of the other cities in the greater Cincinnati area, such as Blue Ash, or Mason, or Norwood, or any of the other cities along I-71... So just imagine if EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN CABELL AND WAYNE COUNTIES DECIDED TO GET IN A CAR AND DRIVE TO THE SAME SPOT... Think a few of you might be bright enough to use the left lane?

I didn't think so.

Ok, thats fine, good for you...but why do you have to do it when you drive on our empty interstates?  And empty interstated in Virginia, North and South Carolina, Indiana, etc, etc, etc, etc

I remember when Marshall would be playing in the MAC tournament in Cleveland and brought hardly anyone. I am growing tired of the lecturing from some Marshall fans. Geesh

Huh? In Football Marshall travels to Athens a heck of a lot better than we do to Huntington. Let's focus on football, not basketball. Anything less than 2500 Bobcats fans tomorrow is sad. Funny how people get so defensive when the opposition presents FACTS.

Just pointing out that Marshall doesn't always travel all that well. I remember in the Pizza Bowl Ohio having as many if not more fans at that game than Marshall. Since that comment was in regards to football I thought you would approve.

In Huntington, we live for this.

Exactly. That's a sad existence.

I love that Marshall fans:
1. Got a rumor about our ticket allotment.
2. Assume it's true and it represents the totality of Ohio fans buying tickets.
3. Therefore bash us based on our attendance to a game that has not yet been played.

You guys are brilliant.

I'm leaving now from Cincinnati.

Heading to Chili-fest and then tailgate a bit before the game.

Seats are in section 103, and I can't wait! Feel free to stop by and say "Hi!". I'm waaay too excited for this one!

Good luck to the Herd, and I hope both teams come out of this one injury free!

GO BOBCATS!

We were way short of Marshall in that game.  Our Pizza bowl attendance was horrid.

I remember it differently. What did you guys think of the Ohio crowd tonight? I thought it was a descent crowd. Could always be better but it was easily the best crowd we have taken to Marshall. 110 was great as well.

Announced 33,436. Sixth largest ever at the Joan.

How big was Ohio's crowd? Hard to tell as expected, because there were so many interspersed away from the true visiting section. I saw one group in the endzone that had to be 30 or so. I would say there were 1,000ish in the visiting section and if I had to guess, another few hundred throughout the stadium. I would have liked to have seen more, but it was years beyond the 2010 showing. We got plenty of room on the bandwagon, though. I'll make room for anyone who wants to join.
