That is painstakingly true. I get that we like to move the ball slowly and control the clock, but a little faster pace might actually have helped us score in the first half of last game.
Ohio's slow pace on offense gives the opponent's defense more time to set up. The strategy worked against Iowa State. But that was three games ago and MAC opponents likely studied films of the Iowa State and FAU games.
And a faster offense pace just might help our O line and our running game which, gee, might also help the passing game.
My guess there are Ohio players who want to see a faster pace.
