Thanks. Forgot where to find that info. Here's that list again (defense only):

LB A.J. Grady - Questionable (leg)
DT  Carl Jones - Questionable
LB  Keith Moore - Questionable
S    Gerald Moore - Questionable (ankle)
S    Thad Ingol - Questionable
DE Tremayne Scott - Out (foot)
CB Jamil Shaw - Out for season (shoulder)
CB  Travis Carrie - Out for season (shoulder)

I thought I saw Keith Moore on the field today. Anyone else from this list on the field?

Thad Ingol and Carl Jones both played and had good stats as did Keith Moore (in on 16 tackles).

L.C.--I had the same problem with drops of the vidcast feed...was able to get it back quickly each time.  We don't run much hurry up these days; we run the no huddle.  There's a difference.  So, we likely are not playing at a 90 play pace.

The db's were solid today on pass coverage.  And/or Beefs passing stinks.  Problem today was that they ran on us.

On O, I thought we dropped a couple of catchable balls on sideline routes 25-35 yards downfield.

Two big plays:  kickoff return for td; 35 yard completion on 3rd and 35. (2nd & 35?)

Proxy--where in SoCal are you.  I live in the San Fernando Valley during the week, Oxnard (kinda like a big Athens) on weekends.

Carl Jones and Keith Moore played today, but I do not know if it was the whole game and they are not 100%

I'm pretty sure Xavier Hughes (S) was out today, too. Preseason the starters on defense were expected to be:

S - Gerald Moore (out), Ingol (injured but played)
S - Xavier Hughes (out), Kristoff
CB - Travis Carrie (out), Fisher (was limping), Bass
CB - Omar Leftwich (gone), Jamil Shaw (out), Wells (recently had knee drained)
WLB - Woseley
SLB - Lewis, Grady (out)
MLB - Moore ( was supposed to be out), Russell
DE - Scott (out), Barber/Branz
DT - Jones (was supposed to be out)
DT - Huynh, Crutcher
DE - Hastings

Some parts of the defense aren't too bad, but out of 10 defensive backs on that list, so far as I know, two are healthy (Bass and Kristoff).

Anybody else think we should have kicked a field go with about 5-7 minutes to go in the fourth quarter giving us a 17 point lead?  By keeping the lead at 14 and giving up the late 45 yard pass to the one we gave them a chance if they had gotten the on side kick.  Just curious.

That whole drive was terrible. we were already acting like all we needed to do was run out the clock. Then, Instead of trying to pick up the 1st down on 3rd and 7, we took a shot at the endzone.

the number of injuries to our Defense is a cause for concern, as is the offensive stats of our opponents the last two weeks, but here are some numbers to keep in mind from today's performance, these are 4 of Ohio's 6 scoring drives-

- Kick return, 100yds, 1 play, 0:13.
- Rushing TD, 14yds, 1 play, 0:05
- Passing TD, 15yds, 1 play, 0:06
- Rushing TD, 55yds, 2 plays, 0:34

Our defense and special teams came up with big plays that put us in good position to score and didn't get much time to rest as a result. Buffalo had the ball a full 10 minutes longer.

It's frustrating to see how far they bend, but they have yet to break. I can't believe I'm typing these words but I'm concerned about the Akron game. go ohio.

As I stated in another thread, according to what Russ said during the game, UB's Campbell is their 3rd string running back.  We made him look like all world today.

I mentioned that in another thread - I thought there was more like only 2 minutes left there. Very bad coaching decision - you have to take every possible opportunity to score when there is any possibility of enough time for them to close the spread to you.

RSB-you may be right I just know it was somewhere near the end of the game.  And, i agree you gotta take points there.

Buffalo's Oliver ran for 1,300 plus last year. They run the ball, they have the line to run the ball. Scott out, Jones hurt, Kieth Moore not 100%. Not the usual support from the safeties.  Buffalo made him look good as any back they line up will in their system. A little respect/credit to Buffalo.

These threads are no longer aggravating...They are amusing...

"This game is over...This team has no interest in playing football"...
We lost a 2 time Captain and consummate Bobcat for the remainder of his Senior season today while he "wasn't interested in playing football".  Oh yeah...and somehow they managed to win...Again.

"You're not suppose(d) to be critical of the team.  You just cheer them on and make sure they get orange slices after the game"
Or ice, or physical therapy or surgery.  This isn't the NFL.  These kids play because they love the game and they love their University.  Many of them played hurting today and left it all on the field keeping an undefeated season alive in the face of mounting odds against them.   That said though, I guess it's your right to be critical of that effort at the first sign of adversity.

"The only reason we won today was Buffalo handing us the ball"...
Yeah...Our defense has nothing at all to do with forced turnovers.

"A kick return for a TD saved the day"...
Yeah we can dedicate a thread to pissing and moaning about punt formations but when you run a kick back 100 yds it's luck.

"We made a 3rd string RB look all world"...
You don't think Daz could go for 160 if we were playing a banged up D?

Seems to me this thread was headed to the page 2 "archives" until you resuscitated it.
