Now DFC, you know the new rules. You're not suppose to be critical of the team. You cheer them on and make sure they get orange slices after the game.

New rules?  This board has always been insanely tame compared to any other sports message board ever. (Not meant as a criticism, just an observation).

Looks like we woke up one quarter in just like every other game.  One of these days (and it still easily could be today) that is going to be our demise.

It went with Carrie,Leftwich and Shaw. Defense is young but game they will improve..this year could have been EPIC but I think the best is ahead for this group. Not counting them out if guys get healthy however.

I think the tone of the board is a good thing, not a bad one, but yes, it is different that most boards. I agree that it would be nice if Ohio had a good first quarter one of these days. It's hard enough when you have the eyepatch, without spotting everyone a lead.

How about that FG? I think that one would have been good from 60.

I keep losing the feed from ESPN and getting Error 502. Anyone else having that problem?

Through 3 quarters, Ohio has run a total of 34 Offensive plays.... wow. They won't hit 90 today. Meanwhile Buffalo has 64.

A couple one-play TD drives might have something to do with that. Doesn't really tell the whole story.

It does keep Ohio from wearing down the Buffalo defense, though. Usually Ohio has been winning the 4th quarter after pounding on the other team fro 3 quarters.

Edit - pounded them there - on the TD, the entire offensive line was in the endzone.

Wow, I hope Fisher isn't hurt too badly.

...No ditch today. It's a win, that's what counts.

It is called 8 of 11 starters on defense are out hurt and a few others banged up. So, Buffalo was playing a lot of our second string defense today. I thought they played pretty well today under the circumstances and made some key stops on 3rd down when they really needed it. This gives these guys confidence and experience for later in the season if they are called on again after the first string gets back in there. Just shows how much Ohio has grown in depth on both sides of the ball.

Who are those eight, and what are their expected return dates? Does anyone know that off the top of your head?

As the prOUd aunt of an Ohio Bobcat, I am really thankful the kids won today.  Sorry to hear Tett got an INT, but overall, I'm please with the way these kids are playing.  It seems though, every year, the defense, especially the DBs and CBs get banged up.  I hope the young ones can learn to keep their focus for (4) qtrs. One more game and then a much, much needed BYE week.  GO OU!!!!

PrOUdly supporting the Bobcats from sunny SoCal.

I think they have 5 linebackers hurt and a couple of corners.  Not sure though. Maybe someone out there can give us exact names, but I heard and the announcers said again on ESPN3 today that Ohio at 8 starters on defense out due to injury.

Look at Ted Thompson's opening post of the Official Buffalo Game Thread here:

It's remarkable that these guys are still winning.

Thanks. Forgot where to find that info. Here's that list again (defense only):

LB A.J. Grady - Questionable (leg)
DT  Carl Jones - Questionable
LB  Keith Moore - Questionable
S    Gerald Moore - Questionable (ankle)
S    Thad Ingol - Questionable
DE Tremayne Scott - Out (foot)
CB Jamil Shaw - Out for season (shoulder)
CB  Travis Carrie - Out for season (shoulder)

I thought I saw Keith Moore on the field today. Anyone else from this list on the field?
