Optimist, if you are who I think you are, you were not kicked out for standing in the student section. You were 'kicked out' for leaving your seat, and intentionally blocking the view of people sitting. You were then an absolute jackass about it.
It's one thing to ask people to stand, and get people excited, its another to be a complete jerk about it.
You deserved it.
I am fairly certain I am not who you think I am. You probably would recognize me though, and might still think I am a huge jackass, although I hope not.
I don't think I was a huge jackass, just a minor one... However, I would've been a
HUGE jackass if I didn't want to miss the game. However, I LOVE this school and really just wanted to watch our undefeated football team.
I am the kind of individual who would be alright with taking a ride to Nelsonville and then laughing as the USA Today picked up the story with the headline "student arrested for standing at football game." If you are aware of who I actually am, you may know I have a history with these sort of issues.

That piece was me being a jackass. Being kicked out of a STUDENT SECTION for standing is a legit gripe, IMHO. Not a jackass, but I really should have been. I was kicked out for standing as were a ton of others. Then I was told to go find a seat in open admission on the Tower Side. If I was a huge jackass, I would've went over to section 105 and told security that the other security told me I could stand there. I then would've stood the entire game and frustrated all of bobcatattack and their families. I decided it was a better move to go annoy the Akron fans. It was fun.
