I think you guys are early.
I asked at the local Kroger, and they told me the newstand / periodicals are updated on Tuesdays.
I think you gotta let the guy at the distributor get the magazine, too.

Well and good, but at four of five locations, I couldn't find last week's either, which is indicative of a larger issue.
Sell thru?

If they stock Monday or Tuesday and are sold out by Wednesday, they have a problem. If they just aren't being stocked, it's a problem. There is no way for it not to be an issue.

I bought mine at Giant Eagle in Westerville, the 18 year old clerk that helped me find it was more interested in the mila kunis cover on Maxum.

Several of my friends, who are SI subscribers, called me to say that they thought the article was great and very complimentary to O.U.
By the way, does anyone know when "Classics and World Religions Quarterly" will be on campus for their article ?

There was a USA Today writer in attendance today. Looks like in addition to SI we are going to get a feature in USA Today.

One of the anchors at the Columbus NBC affiliate early this morning incorrectly said that the Bobcats were on the cover of this week's SI, which led to the standard news anchor banter about what a jinx that was. I appreciate the call-out, but incorrectly stating the cover of the magazine?

The little book store in Athens (on Court street, just south of Follett's--or whatever it's called now) had a big stack of the SI issue, like a foot thick stack. No problem getting one there, at least on Sunday.

We also had a blurb in the Wall Street Journal about being undefeated. Not a feature but still kind of a big deal:
