I had a Tim Horton's Hot Chocolate today, and noted that it was due to their sponsorship with Ohio University.
Now to the bullet points

- I like the sponsorship because it is a big name and should help us.

- The only reason they sponsor State is because Wendy's and Horton's merged.

- State is very evil, Terrorism evil? state isn't a terrorist organization, but brainwashing evil without a doubt.

- As for other sponsors, ideally you want exclusivity, but you also want the big name money and support that comes from a company that almost demands multiple teams.

Speaking of sponsors...  Why the F am I seeing O$U ads on BobcatAttack?  Anyone else get these on the top and right sidebar?  I know it's for the medical center... but PLEASE, NOT HERE!

I work in advertising, so I'll try to explain this without getting too technical. The OSU Medical Center isn't calling up Ted and specifically placing their ads on BobcatAttack. What they are doing is using something called an ad network (most likely AddThis, since BobcatAttack has the AddThis "Share" button on every page). AddThis has a huge inventory of sites where they can places ads. The Medical Center probably wanted to geotarget their ads to just those in the Columbus area, hence why you're seeing their ad on this page.

"You have no Timbits!" is now the official jeer towards opposing players at Peden and The Convo.

Exactly. Also, many sites use the same network, and their cookies may track you from place to place. They may also be buying people who have recently visited healthcare-related websites. For example, you'll notice if you search Amazon or similar sites for products, related ads will often appear on this and other sites.
