So, is it confirmed that the 110 is actually going to Miami? Will they be performing at halftime, I would presume?

Yes, I read on the 110's Facebook feed this weekend that they're officially traveling to Oxford for this game. Unsure if they'll play halftime or not. If they made the decision as late as they announced it, it's very likely that Miami already made time commitments to groups/promotions/etc. for halftime (this is commonplace with all schools).

I wouldn't be surprised to see the 110 only playing in the stands and doing a postgame show either on the field or outside of the stadium, but that's just an educated guess on my part.

Pete Fiutak's (College Football News) column was posted on Fiami's message board...”Tell me about … Ohio” ... I want to know the name, address and pant size of each and every voter in any of the human polls who has seen Ohio play more than one down of football since the win over Penn State. The bobkittens are ranked 24th in the latest BCS standings, and 23rd in the Coaches’, Harris and AP polls despite needing everything in the bag last week to beat Akron, whose only win so far was against Morgan State, and struggled to beat Buffalo, whose lone win this season was also against Morgan State. 

Before beating the Zips by six and Buffalo by seven, the bobkittens won 37-34 over a UMass team that has yet to win a game. Not only isn’t Ohio one of the 23 best teams in the country, it’s not even the third best team in the MAC. Northern Illinois is destroying everything in its path, Toledo came within an overtime loss to Arizona of being unbeaten, and Kent State is on a roll winning five straight with fix of its victories this year by double digits.

I'm not sure why he needs anybody's pant size, but this guys sounds angry.  Hope we can prove him wrong.

Very doubtful the 110 would go if they weren't guaranteed time at halftime, especially this late in the season.  You could be right, but in my experience we never went anywhere (sans Ohio State, which was planned a few months ahead of time) if we couldn't perform at halftime.

Now Fuitak's write up is the kind of bulletin board material I like to see.  Along with the rivalry if that kind of stuff doesn't get the Cats ready for Miami nothing will!
