Calling our band chubby ehh?  White is not the most flattering color for chubby Miami kids.

Great shot, JSF!   If I'm not mistaken (???), you also originated the 'So Say Us All' thread (the original).  Nice.

From "Bash Riprock":

"From what I gather, the news of this swept through the Miami alumni band community like wildlife."

Like wildlife, Gracie?

What was the cause of the 110 getting a stadium ban from Yager in the first place? Now im intrigued....

OU has a good team. Good for them. I hope they enjoy spending 10s of millions of dollars to crack the Top 25 and play in a 3rd tier bowl game, and lose money doing it.

He thinks we are losing money! Apparently never had Econ103. At a real university.

I'm taking this as a green light to continue trolling the MAC boards.  Just kidding.

I'm glad our band isn't full of pedagogical tools.

Is this really how we wanted to send the 110 back into Oxford for the first time in 30 years?

Nice work.

I looked that one up tonite as I have been listening to this phrase regarding pedagogy from Music educators (yes tools from Miami amongst them) and now finding it on the Hawk Talk message board had to take time to get an accurate definition. EEEEEssshhhh. TO say that their band is above mere half time shows and has a higher purpose is really high brow stuff. Effete self serving beotches..

I think the banter between the Miami fans is sufficient entertainment.  Please be careful with the trolling, as it can jeopardize the 110's visit.

I was there when it happened.  Among other things it involved carrying the Miami flag upside down.  This started a Boo fest that lead the Redchicken band to not yield to the 110.  There was almost a riot.

Well, I should have known better than to not proofread something I've written on a tablet with a small screen and a virtual keyboard.  On the other hand, providing fodder for a joke about Miami is a good thing in and of itself.

Edit: I've taken the liberty of editing my original post so it says what I actually meant to say.

If I recall correctly, OUr band hit a few Miami fans in the head when they sat in the OHIO section after halftime. We were banned from Fiami and no one cared.

What's got me worried is that my typo was deemed funnier than my actual sense of humor which has gone largely unappreciated on this board.
