By nature you let bad teams hang around all game. Urgency doesn't exist. Keep it close and pray isn't a strategy.

When you play a team with the exact opposite philosophy, you leave yourself exposed.

We're lucky enough to have a tough defense to overcome constantly underachieving on offense, but this offense is tough to watch.
And a missed 52 yard FG instead of going for it - bad decision making
52 yard FG for someone whose career long is 42. And it came out spinning sideways???

We don't want to run plays, they want to run BIG plays.

This is what happens.

Can we overcome a 4 point deficit? Hard to say. Imagine we're about to abandon the run and start throwing 4 yard dump passes and punt against the worst team in FBS.

The offense is unbearably bad. It's had to put into words.

Is Bangura hurt? He hasn't had a touch since the 11 minute mark in the 1st Quarter.

Better move up 10 yards.

Even the coaching staff knows they can't put together good offensives plays, so we trot out this kid to boot 50 yarders when his career long is 40.

I get the feeling Ohio is going to win the same number of games every year under Albin no matter the talent. We’ll be happy with that in leaner years and not very happy with that when we have more talent.

This is basic game strategy. If you believe you are the better team by some bit of margin, you want as many iterations of the game as possible. In football, an iteration could be a drive. In basketball, a possession could be one iteration. It's why you hear "slow the game down" as a common keys to the game for the underdog. It's why upsets are not uncommon in the NCAA Tournament and not so much the NBA playoffs.

Another week, more of the same. An absolute undisciplined, bumbling mess.

We're going to lose to the worst team in FBS. Amazing.

And if we manage to win by 1, we'll have the same usual suspects crying in here saying everyone is an alarmist and a cry baby for being disgusted by this mess.
