Always get nervous for late season games against Buffalo. Especially after a major letdown loss with the season on the brink. No margin for error.
I can't believe we are 7 point favorites. Is Buffalo really that bad? I guess we will find out tonight.
Why be nervous about any of the remaining games? We are already eligible for a crappy bowl. The difference between 6-6 and 8-4 matters little in the scheme of things. This team was primed to win a title and came up short--again. Do I want to win out? Yes. Do I want to win a bowl game? Yes. But will that be at the expense of Albin staying? Dude has proven this year he is unfit for a head coaching job.
So put the nerves aside. We're playing with house money. The only problem is that we're playing with the house money provided by the lame Casino that Cousin Eddie takes Clark to in "Vegas Vacation" while Miami gets to keep playing at The Bellagio.
I get it, but with this attitude, why watch at all? We're "just a MAC team" so the best we can do is a MACC anyway, right? I mean, what's the point? I, for one, just enjoy each game week-by-week. I'm thankful for whatever bowl games because there were absolutely none for well over three decades and really, weren't more than one for a MAC team in that time frame anyway. Also, with the death of cable coming, the number of bowls is likely to decrease again. Watch and see.
