Even though we have the edge in this series, I feel like the Bulls are often a thorn in our side, especially in Buffalo. I, for one, am happy to have something else to watch as election results trickle in. We need a win here to get back on track.

Unless the offense somehow magically regains their 2022 form, every game will be a slogfest at best.

I figure Akron is a gimme, although we all know in the MAC there is no such thing as a gimme. But I also think winning here makes the Central game at home have less pressure has a "must win." In other words, we really need this win. Imagine going into that Akron game on a three game skid and having lost 4 out of the last 5?

They're all must wins from here out if we want to have a slim chance at Detroit.

Weather Channel says a 40% chance of rain with temps probable in the 40s at game time. Breezy, too, at about 15 mph. Not ideal.

You got it. This one looks especially sloggish. We've scored an average of 25.8 ppg in MAC play, but only 16.3 in the last three games. Buffalo is giving up 16.8 ppg on average in MAC play. So we can be expected to score around 16 points unless the defense chips in. Defensively, we're giving up 18.8 ppg in MAC play and Buffalo is scoring 20.2 ppg. But they're averaging only 17 pts in their last three games and just 15.3 in four of their five games. So they can be expected to score around 16 or 17 pts as well.

We need to score some turnovers to help our chances.

Let's see. Buffalo>CMU>NIU>Ohio. Hmmm. Or we have Ohio>BG>Buffalo. What can we conclude from this? This is the MAC being the MAC, where any team can win any game on any given week. Let's hope that Ohio used their long week to make a few adjustments, and that they come into Buffalo prepared to play their best.

Go Bobcats.

Agreed, and all are certainly winnable! Even if Miami doesn't stumble and open up a MACC opportunity for us, it'll be nice to win out and be playing in a Bowl game with a chance for a double digit win season!

After listening to the coach this weak the team is depressed.
Now we will see if the team can recover and win this next game. This is where the coaching staff comes into play, bigtime.

Nobody cares about butts in the seats. It's eyeballs on the screens that count for MACtion!

It would only be slightly better on a Saturday in November, esp with neither team playing for the division anymore.

If that’s the case, maybe in the future all the games will be played indoors, with just a few seats, just like studio wrestling. Everyone will be betting and doing pay per view on their smart phone or tablet.

That might be a great idea for the Tuesday/Wednesday night games, except that no one has an indoor facility with ~5000 seats, so it's either outdoors with a lot of empty seats, or indoors, in an IPF with no seats at all.

Weather forecast seems to be for no snow, clear but chilly, probably 40-45 degrees, with a strong west wind, at 18 mph.

These games are lucky to crack six digit numbers in viewership but still much more exposure than you'd get on a Saturday with all the other games. Is is still worth it in the streaming age!? Probably, because there are still less games on the telly on Tuesday and Wednesday night no matter the medium. As a fan, would I rather sit on the stadium on a Saturday afternoon? YES. As a tv viewer, would I rather have something to watch on a mundane Tuesday evening? Yes to that too! The bottom line is that none of these stadiums are packed on Saturdays either.

The "MACtion ruins the gates" crowd fail to acknowledge that none (or very few, like maybe one) of the MAC stadiums are sold out on Saturdays in September and early October. Crappy truth but a truth nonetheless.

A must win on Tuesday in Buffalo.

Otherwise the Bobcats will limp into a bowl game having gone 2-4 in their final 6 games. Central Michigan owns the Green and White. A BIG offensive output vs the Bulls might change the Bobcat's fortunes vs the Chips and switch that final 6 games to a much more respectable 4-2.

Beat Buffalo; gain confidence for Central match-up. Then destroy Akron and be the bowl game favorite.

What is it now, 27 and 5!? I think we can beat them this year but I agree. We've got to go into that game coming off a win.

This was one of my preseason losses. Hate playing there. Hate playing them.
