I know this is going to sound like an oxymoronic statement, so stick with me.....
I cant help but feel as if Vick is the best choice to start right now but TT is our guy, no doubt about it, next year.....
TT looks like that ace baseball pitcher with that dreaded "dead arm" diagnosis like Johnny Cueto had for the Reds this year.....TT just doesnt have his stuff right now.....yank him, sit him, skip a start or two. Rest his brain along with his body.
Come back next year....or maybe in the Dollar General/Autozone/Kmart/Kwik-E-Mart Bowl bid that we get on some Tuesday afternoon in Minot ND.........
PTgrad, you couldn't be more spot on. Vick is healthy and out to prove something. At this point TT looks like he could careless about winning. Whether it be injury related or whatever, throwing mini-tantrums a la Jay Cutler has me ripe and quite frankly pissed off. Stop acting like a diva out there; the guy had one great year, followed up by in my opinion a year to forgot (other than the Penn State game).
Put Vick in against Kent and see what the kid can do against solid MAC competition. This might not be the best example, but I'm throwing it out there anyways. Growing up in Mass. I have been a Patriots fan since I can remember. They have had sustained success for the last 10+ years. If Tom Brady (who took us to the promise land and won 3 times) started openly whining about play calling and was throwing the ball as hard and accurate as a Tim Wakefield knuckleball, Ryan Mallet would be starting in a heartbeat. What you did last year, doesn't matter. You set some school records? Doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is what can you bring to the table on this Saturday (or Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday). Forgot last year, the only thing that matters is next game.
