A lot of quit in this program right now!

I've never seen so many players not care as I do right now.

Blankenship is the only guy who brings it every week

yeah, but if he could hang on to the ball, we might up 7-0 instead of down 7 three minutes in.

True, but he also has almost 100 yds after 1 quarter. He has a had a huge year and isnt fumble prone overall

Ohio allowed 21 points in 1st quarter. That's the most points it's allowed in the 1st qtr since start of the 2004 season.

Now the owner of Ohio's single-season rushing record.

Vick is not ready..this isnt Madden his reps have been limited and Kent will take his head off. Too many injuries you cannot expect non-scholarship players to keep up with Kent. And the offensive play calling is ELEMENTARY. So predictable.

Horrible performance by Ohio's offense today. Players came out with their heads up their asses with two fumbles and a pick in first quarter. That doesn't reflect well on the coaching staff that the offense comes out and is so inempt with that many days to prepare. Kent St came out more focused and they are gonna win this game because Ohio didn't show up again from the get go. Another poor effort from Ohio. This team using excuses. Good team don't use excuse. Its not injuries that cause 2 fumbles, a pick and several sacks in the first quarter. Solich/Tettleton hasn't fixed the problem with the sacks these last four games.

The decision making and performance from the QB position today has been unacceptable if you are expect to win.  Not sure what the answer is to the mystery of what has happened at this position from week one to the crap we have seen the last six or seven weeks.

Game was over in 1st quarter so why not give Vick a chance. If he gets his clock cleaned you yank him. But given our currently inept offense he deserved a chance.

At no point should we have a jumbo package on 4th down.  EVER!   We are a spread team, so spread the damn field.

Albin should be fired, plain and simple.  Frank's seat should be burning up.  There is no excuse for losing 4 of the previous 5. NONE!  I heard we have depth because we redshirt so many players. I don't buy that for a second.  We redshirt because there is nobody on the bench that is good.

The meltdown/collapse of this team is truly amazing.  It is blatantly obvious a lot of guys have flat quit....most notably the QB.  He hasn't shown even a glimpse of care/heart/intensity in weeks.  Not sure what happened to him, but he is a lost cause right now.  Looks like he could care less about being out there...like he would rather be anywhere but playing QB

can only hope he gets it together before next year....because this team has a lot of talent returning...and when healthy they could be pretty damn good.  But if TT continues this horse crap attitude...OHIO will continue to sputter.

right now, I wouldn't walk across the street to see this team in a bowl game

This is the first time in the Solich era where I truly thought we had no chance to win. Last time I felt this way was 2002 maybe Florida?

Run out of bounds on 4th-and-16? Somewhere between Marshall and Akron Tettleton lost his heart or fire. Looks like he is trying to prove something to coaches. This needs to get settled if he is to continue.

So now we just run out of bounds on 4th and 16 after getting 3 yards?!!?!?! What a gutless play. That is a a complete gutless bum move. At least throw the ball up for grabs to at least give someone a chance!

I'm glad I'm not the only one bothered about this.  I love #4, but like you said, he doesn't show the same heart and fire anymore.  Running out of bounds when he had time to at least take a shot at the endzone says it all.  His body language on the sideline and walking off the field also says it all...

I like the effort from the D today.  They could've imploded after the offense did in the first quarter, but they stayed stout and kept it from being a rout.  They're the reason Ohio still had a chance in the 4th Q.  I also appreciate the offense's effort after the 1st Q.  Beau came up huge, even though he mistimed the jump in the 4th Q.  The O line was overwhelmed, and that's going to happen when three go down in the same game.  The ESPN analyst pointed out something we've been saying for the past four or five weeks: the O takes too much time at the line.  The whole point of the no-huddle is to speed up the game and keep the defense on its heels.  We seemed to be up there waiting for their D to get set.  Speed it up, guys.  Also, I was surprised with a couple things on the drive at the end of the half.  Why keep passing?  You're inside Kent's 15, you've got three timeouts.  Why not run the ball?  They're looking for you to pass.  Also, clock management sucked after it went to 4th down.  Why call a timeout with 20 seconds left when you know you're going to kick the FG?  Run the clock to down to three or five seconds so Kent won't have any time left.  Ultimately, the last one didn't matter, but why risk another kickoff to Archer?

Maybe they can get their sh*t together for the bowl game.

If we do go to a bowl game I would give the team a week off to try to regain their passion for playing.

Solich better give all QB's the same look next year. I don't care if TT is a Sr. I don't trust he won't melt down again when the rubber meets the road. I agree with Ted in that it looks like he is playing the coaches. Turn the page if we have to. Tired of this BS.

I tend to blieve there is not much mental toughness on this team other than Beau.  Too many guys wilt when there is the least bit of adversity.  That's when good players take it up a notch.

Except we win 8 to 10 games every year, not every three or four years.  They don't know what it was like on this end of the Knorr years.

To me, the highlighted above is a) something you would have to try to not see...it's so obvious.  Which leads to b) hold someone responsible for this--fire them or make sure that they get educated about the facets and possibilities of offense.
