We should be safe now that Uconn lost. Its either Military or BBVA depending on the outcome of Pitt vs USF.

The holdup is probably the BCS rankings and the outside chance that NIU jumps enough.

I expect pieces to fall into position around 5 pm tomorrow.

And I'm also confident that we will go someplace. We've proven willing to pay to play in the postseason before. No reason to think that will change.

According to the Ravenna Record-Courier, Kent State will learn of their postseason fate tonight when all 35 Bowl pairings are announced on the BCS Selection Show at 8:30. Although my hunch is they'll know by then. But it doesn't sound like Ohio would announce anything official prior to that show. 

I'm sure they all can read the tea leaves as the various polls and computer rankings come out today, but I don't expect NIU to make any announcement until the top 16 are announced on ESPN tonight.  What happens to them will affect who the MAC sends to Godaddy and Tater.  I presume Toledo will go to Pizza because they can take a big crowd there.  Ohio could announce early because what we do doesn't really affect anyone else.  BGSUcks and BSU seem to be set on where they're going (Beef O'B and Independence, respectively).  But it could be the MAC has asked teams not to announce until NIU's fate is determined for certain.
