Honestly I think we should step back before we build it and decide exactly what we want, then throw up an indoor field and realize we wanted something more. I suggest with the field and track, we add some stands, indoor batting cages, another gym that works on aerobics and some high tech football equipment, new locker rooms for visiting team, and maybe another indoor basketball court or two that can serve for intramural and women's basketball?

I remember hearing about this just before the NewOrleans Bowl and we're still talking about what it should look like and what should be included. I don't get it.

It's too bad the timeline didn't work out better so that when the Peden turf is replaced, the team still had the IPF to practice on.
I would think construction will be relatively quick on this. It's basically a big "steel" building with no basement and only one floor. I hope it fits in architecturally. If it's true that many of our students choose Ohio because of the beauty of campus, we would be doing ourselves a disservice by building anything hideous. If we add 20 percent, can we make it prettier?

I find it funny that we are asking for more and more out of this IPF when we barely got the funds together to even build it. Hell we still had to pull in student money for it too. Be happy with what we are getting and how it will benefit the school compared to having nothing.

I think they will either choose to approve building or delay April 15th
