Out: Byron Landor, Davon Morgan, Julian Posey, Tracy Wilson. Analysis: Coach Rex Ryan loves DBs, especially cornerbacks. This entire 'keep' group was on the roster last year except for Strickland who was a Jet in 2009 and Lankster who was with the Bills and in the CFL. While Revis, Cromartie, Smith and Leonhard are the starters, everyone will see time given the seemingly endless things this team does with its secondary. Mike Mitchell will remain a Raider. Al has too much pride and won't release a 2nd rd pick this early. If #34 were healthy, he'd be a starter.

I hope someone else picks him up soon.  Adam Shefter just tweeted that as part of the CBA, all players on a roster  this weekend have the option of NFL health care for life.

SS Mike Mitchell missed practice again Friday and is all but officially out of Sunday’s game at Buffalo. However, he did work out with a trainer and appears to be making progress from the knee injury he suffered early in training camp.
