Are we really concerned about the throwing motion of the (RS)Sr. QB that has set every QB record for our program, lead us to our first two bowl wins in team history, and has more wins as a starter in the last 2 years than we had during an entire decade when Bryant and Lichtenberg were coaches?

count me as one who is not concerned about Tettleton's throwing mechanics at this point.

I am not in the least bit concerned, I was answering a comment that a person was seeing as a change in his throwing.  His arm is definately stronger than three years ago, but you are not going to change his mechanics at this stage of the game.  You are going to have to get him in situations though where the side arm delivery does not hurt him.

Sure they are. He made some bad throws against a good team. Threw off the back foot way too much, even on plays where he wasn't being pressured.

Tyler's stats and the fact that he's the best passer in Ohio history more reflects the rise of the program and change in offensive philosophy, not necessarily his great passing mechanics. Granted, the two things can be paralleled; one would not be without the other. But outside of Cleve Bryant and Sammy Shon, what QB had great passing seasons at Ohio?

Tyler's throwing motion is unorthodox.

That's not what's been the problem.  To me, I want to see the guy who's fearless.

Boo Jackson? But you make a good point, the past decade has been the Golden Era of Ohio QBs as the bar wasn't set all that high before Frank.

Once again L.C.'s 2 comments on this subject were right on.
I also remember Frank stating prior to the opener that the team will continue to improve as the season progresses. I took that to mean there was a combination of the fall camp strategy for less hitting along with some new faces in starting positions that need game experience to mature into their roles.
Frank also stated that he felt this years team was the most talented since his arrival.
I believe in Frank and I believe we will see first hand how his statements will come true.
