Hopefully we can keep Louisville within 42 like you guys.

Your getting desperate if that's all you have for a comeback. I will take 3-1 with a 42 point loss to U of L over 0-4 and a 39 point loss to U of L.

not desperate , realistic....

Seriously? That's all you have? I am embarrassed for you.

Here is the difference.. you guys enjoy having opponents in driving distance... even if it will never advance your program..and that's fine.  The MAC is what it is... I'm happy with the new conference.. Our recruiting has never been better and is ranked 53rd in the country ahead of Iowa and behind Cal. Yes we're having a rough season...but I'd still rather be here than play Bowling Green and the directional Michigans.

I'll also take playing UCONN, Memphis and Cincy in basketball over Duquesne and St Bonaventure any time.

Is that because you have a losing record against all of them sans EMU?

0-7 vs WMU. I don't blame you. ;-)

Those things are great, but in the end, they are only a part of what it takes to be a good team, but you probably don't need to be told that.

Look at what happened to Marshall when they followed the money.

I am sure our Temple friend will be coming on here crowing about how they only lost to Louisville by 23, blah, blah, blah. How depressing it must be to be a life long Temple football fan. When you are talking smack comparing losing margins that is truly sad!

What's truly sad is that Temps can claim only 21,000 attendance in a 60,000+ seat stadium for a home game vs. a top-10 team and a legitimate Heisman candidate, when the only other major sporting events of any kind in town were Dartmouth-Penn and W&M-Nova.  It's about the same number they claimed for Fordham.

How quickly they forget!

It sure has been nice to be able to walk away from games with my head held high rather than looking down at the ground. Although, last year, walking away from Yeager at Oxford, I had to chuckle when Fiami students chanted "OU, OH, NO!" Very clever.
