In my heart Ohio goes 13-0. Due to a crazy season (with zany BCS poll calculations) they somehow make it to the BCS championship, just edging out Ohio State. Athens suffers a major riot - no one is sure if it's from celebrating Bobcat backers or downtrodden our-mascot-looks-like-a-piece-of-crap rooters.

Ohio's SEC opponent is hit with a major scandal a week before the game - so major that the NCAA has to suspend 15 starters for the game. 

Ohio wins. Three BA posters suffer heart attacks (all survive). Another one gets busted for propositioning an underage prostitute in Pasadena. In his defense, she did look to be 19.

Utterly disgusted by a MAC team being the champion, Powers-That-Be (the AQs) finally decide to break away and form their own league. Ohio is not invited.

Ohio does not win the new D1-AA championship in 2015. In fact, they don't even make the playoffs...

Well, I'm going to pick with my head, not my heart. Lots of turnover on the roster, so it'll virtually impossible to win at Louisville and still hard to beat a tough Marshall team in Week 3. Plus, we always have at least one heartbreaking home loss each year.

I'll predict we lose at BG with the division on the line on a miserably rainy, cold, windy Tuesday night with 2,000 people in the stands. And I'll brace myself for a close loss to some Sun Belt team in Mobile.

I would take 0-4 in non-conference if it meant we could win the MAC. That's what I want this year. We're not going to a BCS bowl, and that'll pretty much be official by Sunday evening, so let's get this team ready for a strong MAC season and then beat Northern Illinois when it matters most. This team must win the conference to take the next step as a program!

Ha, the competition is pretty close at this point. Nine of 20 who  picked have perfect scores so far, and the other eleven all are only a game behind with 3 of 4. Not one picker has less than 3 right. Everyone that picked Ohio to beat Louisville picked Ohio to beat Marshall.

Not much will happen in the standings until Buffalo-BG-kent game unless Ohio manages to lose to CMU, which would vault El Gato Roberto into sole possession of first.
