I remember losing at home to Tenn-Martin many years ago so we need to appreciate having Frank. Believe me it could be a hell of a lot worse and I don't want to return to those days.

You have a very poor memory, because OHIO has only played Tenn-Martin one time, and that was a Frank's team that won the 1st MAC Title in 2006. Not to mention we won handily.

Hey Dumb___, it was a Tennessee team from a hick town and it was in the 80's when I lived in Cinncinati. I think I could remember 2006 since since I didn't go to any games then. Your so fricken smart you can look it and correct me.

Coaching was not the only issue:

Coaching, the players, and the crowd - NOBODY BROUGHT IT

EDIT: I will give kudo's to the 110 - they always do. Anyone notice that at least 30% of the alum 110 section was empty though in the second half (maybe they were strolling around though). Ozone hung in pretty good.

well, this dumb____ can get it right, and the only Tennessee teams we've ever lost too are the University of Tennessee.  We are 1-0 v. Austin Peay, 3-0 v. Tennessee Tech, 1-0 v. Tennessee Martin

In the 1980's our non-league was:

Minnesota x3
Cincinnati
Richmond x2
WVU x 3
NC State
Marshall x4
Duke x2
Purdue
UNLV
Iowa State
Vanderbilt
LSU

One could argue that the 1980's played a much tougher OCC than Coach Solich has.

I checked this also last evening and found the same thing as BTC.  However, your basic point is correct.  In the Heave Cleve and PaPaL days we lost to a ton of awful teams.

They are also 0-1 against Vanderbilt, and that loss was in 1989. I'm not sure I'd call Nashville a "hick town" though.

Good catch, that game was a fan give away day, after every score the they would draw a random ticket for give-a-ways.  And after each score the prizes got bigger.

Monroe, I'm sure the coaching staff is glad that you aren't calling for any firings now.  You are leaving the door open to calling for such firings later, apparently.
