What do you think we're looking at for tomorrow?  Hopefully it will be good (though I can't watch it because of work.)

I'm in the same boat.  I work from 10-5

Guesstimating from the athletic site ticket chart it looks like 20K+ tickets have been sold (now this includes student tickts...which being HallOUeen who knows how that'll turn out).  All in all it looks to be a good sized crowd.  I just hope they're all pissed off from last year and make it loud.

They are also offering $5 tickets to students guests for the weekend.

I'm hoping for a big crowd of well oiled masqueraders to swell the attendace. So are the four other alums I'm bringing. Football on Halloween seems like a good idea, doesnt it?

Only drawback will be if the 10 or 20 patrol cars I saw on the way down 33 last night sweep up all the "guests" before they get here.

As I will be watching online from RI I enjoy hearing the crowd hell OU..OH YEA. It's a great chant and it's great to hear it on TV.

I realized we actually have a "ghost out" at every game - right after the band plays............................

Halloween + Awful Miami Team made this one of the worst exoduses I've seen...but yes, agreed.

Not sure there's much that can (or should) be done. It was a great student crowd for the first half...much, much larger than I would have guessed. But a 3 hour football game is a long time, particularly on THE party day of the year.

Agree, that 1000 or so probably made about as much noise as the old timers side:)  As good as OUr fans can be there are times when they don't know how to make any noise!

Terrible student exodus. Terrible cheering on the tower side.
Good news is the first half was great. OU OH YEAH feels big-time. That chant is money. Credit to everyone for sticking with it. I was watching Mizzou's game against South Carolina... They do MIZ-ZOU. Ours sounds way better. Did anyone see the line for students and their guests to get in? It was long. Really long. The students showed up, were loud, then bailed.

On my drive to Athens, I was listening to College Gameday on the radio. They were talking to Nick Saban. He was imploring students at Alabama to stay for the entire game. Turns out people leave Alabama games early too... He talked about how he understands why they leave but for the good of the program they need to stay the whole game.

Change takes time. We are moving in the right direction. A MAC Championship would help the cause!

I noticed Miami FL's game today at home looked like a pathetic turnout. #7 in the country, undefeated, and it looks like a Marlins game crowd.

Sun Life Stadium (where the Hurricanes play) is 20 miles from UM's campus, or probably about 45-60 minutes by bus in typical Saturday morning Miami traffic. So long as they play noon games, they're not going to have anything resembling a student crowd. Things just don't start before about 5pm (or 10pm) in Miami...

You guys need to chill. I left sometime in the 4th and Court Street was rocking. I don't even know how I'm still forming coherent sentences, but I even saw TT out on college street with a girl I assume is his girlfriend

Alabama actually punished student groups for leaving early by withdrawing their tickets and changing their section to open student tickets.  Wow.

Where were those 1,000 seated? From watching on TV, the student side looked virtually empty aside from the 110. I don't remember ever seeing it that empty.

Not sure what can be done about it, but maybe that's why we should go back to no home games on Halloween.

The fans leaving and not cheering was perfect strategy--preparring the team for the exact conditions they will face in Buffallo and Bowling Green--empty seats.

I was on the student side. After half, my buddy counted 67 people remaining in our section. It was maybe half that by the end of the game. 1,000 on the entire side seems high.

That should promote lasting bonds between alums and alma mater...

Some of you talk about the student side like the tower side is just exploding with sound. I have actually never heard the tower side get all that excited, half the people wear OSU stuff to the game and probably don't know anything about our team.
