Technical question: Is this thread jacked up for everyone else? Or is it just me?

EDIT: Now it's fine as soon as I post. Weird.

So, does that mean you want to fire Ryan?

ESPN announcers were all about stupd cow, what they had to do to win, etc, etc, etc.  Once they gave credit to our db's and tackling.  Otherwise, no credit to us. ...at least in the 2nd half.

You must have watched a different game than i did. They compared the QB's multiple times. Did you ever think that maybe they they talked about what Marshall had to do to get the W was due to the fact that they trailed throughout? After all, this is TV .... and keeping your audience tuned in. They gave plenty of credit to what we did tonight including showing all the Marshall fumbles at least 3 times.

Agreed!  I was cringing when that song came on which got the herd on their feet. WTF!  I was like, come on 110, now is you time to rebel and interrupt the stadium music!

I doubt anyone knew that was a "Marshall song"...but hey, maybe it psyched them out!

If you can't connect "Thundering Herd" with "Thunderstruck"...

I mean, the 8-track has a fricking label on it!

bobcat28, I concur on the Special Teams "Guru", if you will....Coach Haines.

Not sure if it was him or Solich that had a lapse in confidence in the "2 for 6" Green when the 4th and one opportunity came up, it was a down the middle chip for most kickers.
Word on the sideline from what was shared with us at Roney's after a cold one (or two) was that the Amicone kid was warming up to take the third attempt but was pulled. Why in God's name don't they let the most consistent guy take the 25-40 yard dingers that should be automatic. The WR that bought this "alum bum" a beverage said that Amicon's been the most consistant at training, camp and even tho he had to sit a few days after the Louisville fiasco with a leg injury that he's been money about everyday.
Granted he's about 5'6-5'7 and a buck 80 but let the best guy take those lengths and save Green for the long ones and K/O's.

Just to change it up a little, maybe we could fire the concessions manager. What happened to that $150,000.00 worth of upgrades? I tried to buy some hot chocolate midway through quarter number two only to be told they were out of any hot drinks (this was on the Tower side). Really, it wasn't even half time! After the half I needed to stretch my legs so I walked all the way around in search of a hot drink. Nada, zip, zero, zilch, not a coffee or hot chocolate in the stadium. Oh, God help me I'm beginning to sound like Bobcat Love, although by all accounts the pretzels were okay.......

I am in for the Concessions Manager. Dude has to go. No coffee or Cocoa to be found. I was told it would take 15 minutes to brew more. What do they have back there a $9 Proctor Silex?
I tried to get a pretzel in the second half. It was my third unsuccessful trip to the concession stand. Three times I got to head back with nothing to show for it. I felt like Marshall's offense.
At the end of the game my wife and sister were rewarded with free pretzels at one stand.

Agree with concessions manager.  Coffee/hot chocolate would have been fantastic on the chilly Saturday night.  At one point one of the concessions people shouted - I can only take electronic payment - I don't have any change at this register.  The breaker blew at one stand early on, so nothing was available.
This was my first game (and the game was great), but the concessions need serious improvement.

Since this is often a thread to complain about play calling, here's one I loved from today: a couple yards out, Tettleton fakes to the RB (Blankenship?), who lunges convincingly as though he's trying to go over the pile, capturing everybody's attention. Meanwhile Tettleton tosses it over everyone into the waiting receiver's arms on the other side of the pile.
