He is not the problem. 

There is absolutely zero senior leadership on this team. TT....has been checked out since the Louisville game. Carrie...has been average at best this year. Although I cannot knock Beau's effort, he is just not a vocal leader. 

Our defense looks soft. No fire.

TT sat down on the field during a game. Stop. Quit slurping this kid. He has the records, yes. But honestly the bar wasn't set very high. The last qb was Boo. C'mon, Boo?  After he realized he wasn't going to live up to his own hype, he checked out. The diva attitude showed strong during the 2012 Miami loss. 

I have never ever met a more competitive man than Frank. He hasn't quit coaching this team and never will. These players need to take ownership. They have not. I have left blood swear and tears on that field. Today, I am not proud. 

Better luck next year.

I tend to agree. Tettleton has completely checked out. I hope Vick gets the start next week.

Some of it's Frank.  Even when we show some fire and have a good drive going, he sends out the punting unit on 4th & 6 at their 32.  Even though Yaz hit easily from 49 earlier.  This is at least the third time this year we've punted from inside the opponent's 35.  He needs to show these kids he still believes in them.  This is not the way to do it.

My question is though how much would it matter?  The players seem to have completely given up.  You can lead a horse to water etc etc.

I'm not disagreeing with you, but the way we have faced adversity is terrible.  They haven't rallied and fought back harder at any point the last three games; they threw their hands up in frustration and allowed themselves to be rolled over.

I agree, to a point. He is the head honcho. The "buck stops here", guy. But what are the options? Vick? Sorry, that's a lateral move at best. One would just hope that someone one the team would step up and get them going. Someone make a big play....big hit...something.

I'm tired of watching TT run 10 yards backward on every pass play. He is the only QB in history to never step up into the pocket. (I'm venting because I care)

Great point. And for the 2, maybe 3 good year you got from these kids, they looked like they had what it took to make it to the MACC. This year, however, it just seems like there is no heart.

I think today is a full Knorr. We were competitive against Buffalo longer than Kent. The same Kent that lost to Akron 16-7.

The options are what the options are because those are the players the coach brought in. And Vick is a step back no matter how pathetic TT chooses to play on a given night.

I don't think Nostradomis could have predicted the direction this team (and it's field general) have went.

Tettleton was a fiery competitor once.

I agree that the team has thrown it in.  But when we tried to punt from their 32, we had a 13-10 lead and it was still in the 2nd quarter.  They didn't throw it in until after Kent scored the TD to end the half and the two 3rd quarter TDs.  He had an opportunity to try and up the lead with a FG or have the offense go for it.  Either would've sent the message that we're not giving up.  Punting in that situation is a signal that we CAN'T do it, so why try.

I disagree here.  Vick has athleticism that Tettleton does not.  If he can get better in the passing aspect, he'll be better.

When a team comes out flat for a quarter, a half, even an entire game, the coach may get a somewhat understandable pass... Not three games in a row, though. Not on national television. Not when a conference championship is potentially on the line. Not when a bowl game is definitely on the line. That's on Frank. If TT is consistently and unwaveringly god-awful, he should be pulled. That's Frank. If Beau up the middle doesn't work the person in charge should tell Albin to stop running the damn play. That's Frank. He is the LEADER of all the other so-called "leaders." He doesn't control everything, but he controls enough to make a discernible, positive difference over a crucial three game strecth. That hasn't happened.

How can this team have played pretty well in beating NTSU and stupd cow and now, over the last three games, basically not have a single player who is better than anyone on the other team?

It's over. TT can finish with fun on the bench. Albin, Gdowski and Frank can look in the mirror all winter long.

You're right. Frank did everything in his power this week  to motivate these guys. I think he left TT in as long as he did since he knew a W was necessary today to keep bowl hopes alive and he just doesn't have the confidence in Vick at this stage. But next week if they want TT in for the 1st series that's okay .. but play Vick the rest of the way. I actually thought our dedense was the worst unit on the field tonight .. almost 540 yards given up.

And those that are saying this is 100% Frank's fault I suspect never met the man or talked to him much.

I don't think the defense quit, they just aren't very good.

Frank 100% at fault? Not at all, but he lost this team and has done a miserable job of attempting to get it back.
