It seems to me the title of this thread is an observation regarding our last game (which is a lot of what we do here). What is the point of your response?

Thank you; good question.

My point is that being ahead by 3 with 12 minutes to go and then, losing by 17...by more than the spread...is not satisfactory. Is not having anyone on the ropes. No trophy. 20-0 over the last 12 minutes happened.

If this one forum of OHIO fans is going to accept mediocrity, then we are done, then we might as well stop having a team.

I don't like mediocrity, but I'm not ready to give up on football yet either. Enjoy the moment, take what you can out of it, and move on. I've lowered my expectations, but I enjoyed about 50 minutes of a football game. I'm hoping for the best next year.

I just wanted to stop by one last time and offer my congrats on a great game on monday. I know the outcome wasnt what you wanted or hoped for but believe me we as ECU fans have been there many times. It always seems like we are soo close but yet so far away. We are hoping this move to the AAC can really help all of our athletic programs especially the basketball program. With regards to the game yall really gave us a game and you should be commended for that. It was a great relief for us to finally win a bowl game again. That is something that hasnt happened since 2007. We have been getting to bowls but coming close but not getting over the hump. I have no ill will towards Ohio and I wish yall the best next year and in the future. Feel Free to stop by our eastcarolina.247sports.com site.
